Disappointing and purely entertainment imo
I will say I didn't see Hulk Hogan on there and like him or hate him how many people do you know that have been that jacked for that long

Interesting. It seems impossible for those writers to know enough about hundreds of athletes (and actors) to really rank them, but I had a lot of fun flipping through the top 50.

give me a fvcking break.........
Brad Pitt?????????????????????????????????????????????? ?????????????????????????????????????????????????? ?????????????????????????????????????????????????? ?????????????????????????????????????????????????? ?
Now I know the writer has his head up his ass!
Richard Fvcking Simmons????
Michael Phelps is #1? but he's just a kid
and jack lalanne behind arnold? give me a frikkin break.
jack lalanne should be #1. problem with arnold is that he was big, but his cardio probably sucked.
being fit should be measured in a variety of ways.
cardio, endurance, strength, overall health, lifestyle, AND age when considered fit. many here would agree Jack Lalanne was fit into his 80's and beyond. i mean damn, he was pulling row boats, handcuffed, in freezing waters, from Ft. Point to Alcatraz, in his 70's!!!!
NONE of these fvckers could even come close to doing that, and Jack was doing it in his old age. He is #1

most of those on the list are there because of popularity in hollywood.
most body builders probably should not be on the list because of drug use, lack of cardio, high blood pressure, too heavy, poor lipid profile, and no endurance.
none of these attributes I would consider to make one "fit"

To me a fitness list should have people I would want to emulate like Jason Statham and Arnie that were on there. People like Phelps I mean its great how he represented in the olympics but really I don't give a damn about swimming or have any wish to look like him.

Total hogwash. "Fittest" men of all time and 3/4s of them aren't even under 10% bf. Van Damme and Arnold are two that I had in mind before I clicked on the link, other than a few others, that list is rubbish.
-
10-18-2012, 10:10 PM #31
from memory the list was half good (fit wise)....fittest ever thats argueable but like already stated it was more a entertainment type synopsis...definitely more than just a few...i'm sure we can come up with fitter folk...i still give the trophys for whoever would win in fitness the true sense of the word...(survival of the fittest) (whoever could kill the other with their bare hands/feet

you would have to develop a set of criterion to be measured against to make the list legit.
