What does everyone listen to while training
Let me start off by saying music and training go hand in hand like no other. If I forget to charge my iPod and get to the gym with it being dead, I generally have a bad workout because I have to listen to my gyms garbage mainstream music. One of the best things about training is going into the gym amped up on a new playlist with new bands/artists you recently discovered. So I made this thread for people to possibly discover more music that they're in to.
I generally listen to all types of rock, and a few different rap artists (usually underground artists for both genres as I find most mainsteam music to be garbage now a days) I'm also a fan of trance
Wondering what bands/artists everyone else listens to.
Names of songs are welcome
A short list of a couple of my current most listened to bands:
E-nomine (awesome band, check out the song "opus magnum")
Anything with Maynard (Tool, APC, Puscifer)
Fort Minor (they need to release a second album)
Lamb of God (good for those days in the gym were you're really pissed off)
Godsmack (mostly their older stuff)
Grieves
Atmosphere (yeah I'm from MN)
Eminem (about as mainstream as I go)
Trance (can't really name specific artists for this one)
There are more but I figured I would stop there and let others share what they're into.
Hopefully some of us will find some new music to add to their playlists.

LMAO. I agree But I love this song. I can't listen to Today's junk music. The frequencies today should be inaudible to the human ear.

It's all about rock and metal for me. Doesn't matter if its new or old, as long as it helps get me pumped up. I really can't get into most of the missive played at the gym. I've mostly been listening to Five Finger Death Punch with a little Avenged Sevenfold thrown in.
