    Looks like its been dropped/crushed a few times on the box, looks good either way.

    Exactly, but the Styrofoam protection on the bottom in picture 2 is broken and cracked. This would concern my if the product made a hit itself to something. Otherwise if the inside packing is good and the box is trashed all is fine.

    That's exactly what i told the delivery guy, his response "man this is ups, I get that question all the time, but believe me whatever is inside is safe" so far so good

    It's so clear, my first one was a Samsung also a great unit then a Panasonic that I dislike since day one and this one so far my fav. Bass is pretty low and still shakes the floor lol.

    You can't go wrong with Onkyo, i've never had any issues with their home theatre systems.
