It's kind of like any hobby that you turn into a business, you invest so much effort into doing it for other people that the last thing you want to do when you get off is that samething. After a day of training people I couldn't wait to get out of there and get home to relax. I did have an old buddy that would train people at one place and would workout at another place to keep it interesting, that seemed to work for him.

That makes sense. Luckily if I start training people I can always just come on post and lift

not trying to burst your bubble but you do realise that mabey 1/20 trainers at best earn the money your talking about there and they all have sport science degrees coming out of their ears and alot have a pro x or y career in their younger days too

i just think you need to do a little more research on the industry before you decide to dive in head first, you know what i mean?

Oh lawd... This is the reason I wait for EVERY body to walk away from the tanning room at my gym and secretly slip my way into it and shut the door ASAP and lock it... And then keep one of my headphones slightly lose so I can hear if someone is trying to break in.


Anways bros and females I had an interview/chat with him and he showed me If I worked an average working day of 8 hours and 4 hours to myself I could easily make 400-500 bucks a day! This is of coarse with a bunch of clients and everything runs smooth. Also an average of 36 dollars a session for 1/2 an hour.

He told me he would hire me and that he highly recommends I get the 2-4 month Certification that costs 500 dollars and the insurance (when I pass the test) for 120 dollars a year incase of liability issues up to 1-2 million dollar coverage.

Think I'm going to ask for the study book/classes for Cmas and get started and start training by the summer time. Good news is I have a gym membership at Gold's gym and Anytime Fitness so I can alternate where I lift.

Thats on a 35 dollar session compared to some trainers (like the owner at my gym) who has gotten his sessions over a hundred dollars a session and yes I am really good friends with a pro powerlifter/best friends with Branch Warren, who has kinesiology degree plus a lot of others I can't even pronounce/think of and he makes over triple digits from this. Also have another friend who is a GM at another gym and personal trainer who said making 200-300 dollars a day is very realistic after getting the hang of it and experience. You got to start somewhere, I didn't mention on my first day I would be having 16 clients at 100 dollars a session etc etc.

If 1/20 trainers aren't making 60-70 grand a year working 8-12 hours than I happen to know 5 of the only PT's I know who all make that or above. What are the odds of that?

i've been in the fitness industry for years. The last job in the industry i would take is a personal trainer. Unless your opening your own studio its a shit job with a very high failure and turn over rate. Your better off a server

I've never paid for those services before but if the right person came along I'd be willing to try just for the experience of going out with an escort. You'd probably make better money selling cars then. Even if you're great at pitching potential clients your services, it's still going to take years of being broke until you make enough clients and contacts where you're doing well in that industry. If you love fitness that much or it fits your schedule, then maybe it's good for you. But don't look for instant gratification from it.
