Ever just feel like, "whats the point?"

Not sure if anyone else ever gets this but sometimes I just feel like cautiously planning my meals for the day, and spending countless hours in the gym is almost a waste. Its not because I dont love eating right and workout out it just feels like my effort no longer equals results, and I am at a physique I will never be able to really alter.

It almost feels like after a while your genetics will just say "**** you, this is as big as your gonna get naturally so deal with it you bitch".

Just curious if anyone else has ever felt this way, and what they did to punch their plateau in the face?

Also dont get me wrong, I am gonna be going to the gym and getting my macros till the day I die even if it sometimes does feel like a waste. I just refuse to fall into the mass majority of society that has become some weak and fat.

There is no other option, assuming you're actually doing everything right. You could also swap around your workout routine.

Depends on the night before. Today is more of a "oh god, what was I thinking last night!?!" Rather than a "what is the point" day.

I think tmr will be my "what is the point" day.

If you're going to live like a bodybuilder there really is no point in the grand scheme of life. Living a healthy lifestyle is great and has a point but that can be done without what most do here. Living as you described isn't going to better your financial situation, odds are it will cost you, it's not going to strengthen relationships or place you in a position of power or anything like that. If you're going to live like a bodybuilder the only real reason to is because you enjoy it, that's it. If it's something you enjoy, great but if you don't get enjoyment out of it, in time you'll search for new things you do enjoy. This is why guys who lift for girls rarely stay consistent, it has to be something you do for yourself because you enjoy the challenge and the reward is simply the pleasure you get in the challenge.

I'm not gonna lie, this is my perspective on the same shit.

Going to the gym is pretty nice. I see some hot chix, talk some bs and lift some weights. As time passes and I get more sauced, I get to laugh at the scrawny fat guys.

Also, looking good for hot chix is still on my mind (if they are all fit and into themselves why should'nt I do the same) . Gets me by just fine.
