I like the Christmas idea. I think if I ever get married I'll hire Susan Boyle to sing I dreamed a dream for like 5 k to my lady while I ride in on a white horse and come down and get on one knee and hold up the ring. Then like 5-10 down the line when things get bad and she's being a real bitch I'll just start humming I dreamed and dream and it will shut her up

Could I- yes. Would I want my name attached to that design- fvck no. That phone is a nightmare in every single way and is probably the worst phone there is on the planet. Its 80% marketing and 20% performance. There are so many phones with so much more performance; they just aren't iPhone. I consider the iPhone the smart phone for dummies, and an iPad is an iPhone for old people, lol.

Galaxy S3 is what I use but the top two are that and HTC One X as far as the highest performing. Blackberry typically has the best signal. 99.9% of the time; coverage issues have nothing to do with the cell phone network itself but the actual device. The antenna on the device is typically what gives you dropped calls, poor signal, etc. Cell phone networks are all maxed out to the limits as far as power due to FCC laws. So- the signal won't get any stronger and today really there isn't much of a difference if any in most areas between AT&T and Verizon. If one has coverage typically so does the other because all cell phone companies rent tower space from a 3rd party- they don't own the tower.

iPhone is only good if you're willing to marry Apple. Its easy to use for those that don't mind using iTunes and buying music/media from iTunes store. Most people don't know that iTunes music is worthless outside of having it in iTunes or on an iPod/iPhone and once you buy a song you're limited to what you can do with it because of DRM. The entire iOS architecture is too constrained for techies which is why none buy iPhone. iPhone is a "smart phone for dumb people" because Apple defines every characteristic of how things work and look. It really is hard to build a good app on iOS following Apple's rule. The day will come where nobody wants iPhone and its old news. People are getting smarter to technology and catching on quick enough that Android has already over taken iPhone as #1. Apple has already pushed the limits on iPhone's design so any changes they make in the future are going to be trivial and incremental. The manufacturing technology has to catch up before they can make any major hardware changes and that will take a while so don't expect much out of iPhone 6. I think you'll see another 5 version come out next year and it will be at least 2-3 more years before you see an iPhone 6. I'd guess any major changes will be completely software based.
I have 30K songs in my library and not one of them was purchased through iTunes. Now I use Google Play Music because its free online storage of all my songs and I don't have to keep my library on any specific device yet can access all my music anywhere there is internet access.
As far as Apple- they are a sleezy company. If you only knew how many back doors Apple uses to make money with iPhone and iOS. Little do most know- using Siri is a money maker for Apple. Every time you use Siri it has to go to a data center in NC. All the Siri information is SOLD to 3rd parties for push advertising and such. Apple also ranks Siri results based on paid advertising. You ask Siri for the closest gas station; the result you get is based on who pays more per hit not which is actually closest. Sunoco may be closest but Siri will send you to Mobil if Mobil pays more. No such thing as free- Apple built a billion $ data center and Siri uses Apple servers that they have to maintain and connect to the internet.

Hate to break it to you but all companies do this now. Look at Google. They save your data (searches) and use that to target customers as well. I have to admit I have become a fanboy in a way but I do recognize where Apple falls short. I am no longer into overclocking/jailbreaking phones since I don't have the time for it anymore. My main goal is to have a phone that interacts with others easily and effectively. The iphone does just that (since everyone I know have iphones).

There's a difference- Google doesn't hide it and they also don't do paid ranking that is in conflict of the user. Google maps will give you all gas stations in the area. If Mobil pays more than Sunoco; Apple will exclude Sunoco from the search results even if it is closer or whatever. Apple is selective search results based on revenue. Its about to go to court soon and Apple's stock is gonna fall hard. USDOJ has been looking at this for a while. You can't "trick" people for monetary gain and that's what Apple has been doing for the past few years.
