(unless he makes good on the money - which i know isnt gonna happen)

    good luck dude!

I wouldnt blame Ford, Seems from your earlier post, the vehicle is in poor condition due to poor maintenance or the lack thereof. I have a 1997 Ford Expedition I use for desert purposes and I regularly maintain it with a lube job and she runs like the day she was born. Costs less per year to maintain than one service for my new cars.

Seems the car was sabatoged in order to get you to buy a new one

You need to get some mechanical skills. I have had MANY thermostats go out and have never had to replace an engine. When you see steam STOP driving... Let it cool down for 30 min and add water, NOT cold. Replace all the water ASAP with good denatured water and anti freeze. Tap water is bad for the engine and causes the rust.

Car dealers never (99.99% rarely) loose. You can bet the marked up the car or??? They are not in it to make you a deal. Read over ALL the papers.

this is the second new vehicle ive bought from this dealer in 14 months. my brother has bought 5+ vehicles from them and has a good relationship with one of the guys who runs the dealership which is who i deal with.. he usually gets one per year. i also went to high school with the owner's son.

also when i bought my honda accord last yr i also went to a dealer in SC by my house (the owner of which is a deacon at my church) and the price they gave me got beaten by this dealer by $1500.

so this time when i went to buy the one i just bought i went back to that dealer (by my house) and they remembered me from the last time and said: "we dont want to lose another sale to grainger" so they offered me the vehicle at "$300 over invoice" and told me there was no way in hell grainger would beat it. well they did by $319 and when i told em the price i got they told me they could not beat that price..

this is my 6th new vehicle purchase so i know how it works. im not a 20 yr old kid buying his first car..

i paid $25,989.00 out the door tax, tag, and title plus $1500.00 worth of honda accessories.. (2013 Honda CRV EX)

i realize they made money. that wasnt my point. but thx for attempting to rain on my parade. of which u were unsuccessful!

oh yeh the edmunds value i got for my truck was 8K.. (and yes i know there are prob more accurate sites and i also know they made money on the trade)..

Well under those circumstances you are doing pretty good. Yeah it's not your typical deal then and you are one of the .01% lol I'm sure they are not loosing money but yeah they are defiantly doing you good.

LOL no not trying to rain on your parade, just trying to make sure a brother isnt getting screwed over.
