What kind of dog do you have?
I have a boxer/german shepherd mix. I wanna adopt another boxer from the pound in a few months.
I wanna see if tough guys have tough dogs.

Pure bred German Shephard and another pure pred Bijon Frise...Its interesting because the 16 pound bijon dominates over the 115 pound german shephard...go figure!

I have a pit and a chow/shepherd mix. If the pit ever discovers she's not human but a dog.....I think it would kill her. Oh yeah....2 more pits will be added on soon.

Pitt Bull. She's been the best dog I have ever owned. Gental as a lamb with family and freinds but mean as hell to outsiders. However she's getting really old (16 years) and I'm dreading having to put her down. Wish AS could help her but that's just being selfish on my part.

Well, I don't have a dog (or cat) as I am allergic to pet hair like there is no tomorrow.
If I were to have a dog it would have to be a whooly dog. That doesn't leave me much choice...
Either a poodle (no not a miniature poodle, even seen a full size "Standard poodle?" they are massive!) or smaller but much cooler would be a schnauzer.
If my allergies were not a problem, then I would definetly have a purebred Beagle.

Schnauzers, like most terriers, have a problem with digging.

Female Fawn Boxer, Lady she'll be 2 in July and I'm hoping to rescue a male that's younger than a year old. she's unreal! She's a big assed baby! her and my fiancee take up the WHOLE bed! Unreal! Where ever my fiancee goes she's right up her ass man, like they're attached! She has the best temperment, my dog not my fiancee, and LOVE's everyone! someone could break in the house and she'd try to lick the burglar to death and then play with him. Best Dog eveR!

Standard poodles, despite looking gay, are just about the smartest breed of dog out there.
The reason why they had their hind legs and body shaven was to swim better, and they kept their wool over their body core as insulation for the cold water.
Unfortunately those same fashionable old bags liked that look and took it one step further with tacky shaving, dying the poor dogs wool, and breeding the miniature poodle (which is what most people think is a poodle nowadays).
I have to admit that the poodle as a breed fascinates me.

Since my brother-in-law turned me on to pits, I haven't looked back. I used to be one of those "oh my god! pittbulls are no good maneating dogs that should be destroyed" type. But have discovered they are a very intelligent, loyal breed. They are usually a 1 owner type breed, but the one I have and the others I've been around are very friendly and loving dogs by nature.

I like african dogs I guess. I have a basenji named Kuru, which is a disease similar to C-J (mad cow) disease, and a rhodesian ridgeback named Simba which means lion. Kuru is a handful and is the smartest dog I have ever seen, but also mischevious. Simba is super gentle and always wants to snuggle. Wherever Kuru goes, Simba follows. Great pair.

BiG T, I've seen some unbelievably awesome pits! We go to a dog run and (this was this sunday) this yuppie Dentist and all his golden retriever buddies saw my Boxer and a Pit playing and playing and it was f'n awesome. He's like what kind of dog is that and I told him a Pit he was blown away at the temperment and love this dog gave! He was like I had no idea, I said well if you only go by what you hear then that's what happens! You gotta know the dog they're awesome!

Jade....(my pit) loves to hang from her rope. I have this 4 ft rope tied to the tree and it's about 5 ft from the ground. SHe'll latch onto it and just hang from it for 20 minutes. It's funny watchingher just hang there. Other than that where ever my daughter goes, she goes. When we first brought my daughter home from the hospital Jae would sleep under her crib, now they sleep together in her bed. Well I guess she ain't my dog anymore... About a month or so ago I was outside rough horsing with Jade when the cops come flying up with guns drawn about to shoot her.....neighbors had called to report a pittbull attacking me. It took me an hour to convince them we were just playing........damn some people just don't get it.
