Planned or not, you'll soon find out it's the greatest thing that could ever happen to you. You don't sound too happy tbh, but I hope you change your tune (assuming I'm correct) as we're DYING for another kid ASAP and I'd love to have been the one starting this thread...

Kids are amazing. Once you hold that thing you helped bring into this world all things change. I would do anything for my kids.

my son is two and when he hits a double bi pose and goes grrrr Proud daddy
Or I say what does a deer say and he grunts twice
Or he blows my duck and goose calls I could go on forever

So true. Before I had a kid and would hear people 'brag' about how their kids can do this and that (i.e. 'ordinary' things), i'd be like 'so what'!?! Big deal!!!
You truly can't understand how amazing that stuff really is until you're a parent. And this isn't me being a hypocrite, it's self-growth.

Congrats Bro!!! You now responsible for another person having a chance at life...............what a great gift God has given you both..............
FYI............if at all possible...........do your best not to drop it on its little head............that whole "babies bounce", is just a myth......

Might be in a similar situation. Was on a heavy cycle but started hitting the hcg hard at the end forgetting what it does to your love juice. She's a week and a half late at the moment.
Good luck with your sutuation though, hope everything goes well.

First) congrats buddy!
Second) Ebrace it and realize that this is the greatest thing that will ever happen in your life ...EVER!
Third) You can still do everything. Babysitters, daycare, family! Never let go of life because of children, include them and enjoy all of the new adventures!

Any tips from the other dads on here? Not so much as far as the kid, but what to expect over the next 9 months

My son is almost 2, honestly the first 9 months fly past without too much happening. Once they start walking/talking they really get a personality!

My point is, just support her and get through the hard parts. Remind her of the good things, and know that once baby is born, it still may be a while before things go back to normal. Be aware of postpartum depression and educate your self for the life you will now be living. It's all worth it, IMHO
