You're a better man than me... I was in a similar situation a few years back (two kids trying to break into my house), I fired off three .38 rounds in the air and then waved the pistol in their faces.

I left my .45 at the house like a dumb dumb. It usually never leaves my side. But I was cleaning it while I was home and I hurried out the house and forgot it, along with numerous other things lol

And I'm hoping its just jammed real bad. However I'm gonna take a break with it. For about a week. I have no strength in my grip right now. I can barely make a fist now. And my wrist is killin me too. So I think this week in just gonna do legs, abs and a bunch of cardio I suppose

You probably broke a blood vessel causing it to swell and look jammed. Ive done that and I thought for sure it was broken. After a couple days the swelling went down and it was all fine.

Good job on knocking the punk out. That would be fun an worth a swollen finger for a few days.
