    Optimum Nutrition Fish oil pills ??

    How many do I take a day?
    I used to take the walmart brand and took 3

    3 to 4 servings daily. Don't take without vitamin E.

    Aww I see. Yes and a 1,000mg of Fish Oil. Would it be better to double dose morning/evening or spread throughout the day?

    Nevermind the oil, show me what you're taking, need the label. Or better yet, feed this info where it should be, in the Vitamin/Amino acid thread in the supplement section so everyone can find the info easily.

    I take 9 twinlab fish/flax pills per day. Austinite can you explain vit E? Never heard that should we take a vit e pill with meals/fish oil supps?

    Lots of info on this explained in my thread in my sig. In short, Vitamin E protects the EFA's, otherwise most goes to waste.

    Thanks guys & I've always taken all 3 in the morning at once. Does it really matter if I spread them throughout the day? It's just easier for me so I don't forget.

    I take 3 after each meal + right when I wake up every morning.

    1.86g of EPA and 1.5g of DHA have been shown to improve muscle protein synthesis. For rheumatoid arthritis, fish oil providing 3.8 grams/day of EPA and 2 grams/day DHA has been shown to be beneficial, so I would assume this would also provide joint health benefits in someone who does not have arthritis. For reducing high blood pressure, 2.04 grams of EPA and 1.4 grams of DHA per day appears to be beneficial.

    I have references too, but I can't post them until I get a few more posts under my belt...Sorry : /
