When I'm parking a car, I need to be perfectly centered in the space. I will stick my head out the window or open the door to look at the distance between the line and the car just to make sure. If it's not perfectly centered then I will back up and center it.

when im running (jogging) sometimes i get the feeling that my right foot has fallen behind my left foot in the amount of times it has hit the ground and so i have to hop on my right foot twice to catch it back up..

i do the same thing with blinking my eyes.. and also on the elliptical: if the left handle hits my left shoulder then i have to also let the right handle hit my right shoulder. they always have to be even..

when i was a kid and i would walk i would feel compelled to spin around clockwise every so many steps.

wow it ceases to amaze me how we are all so much alike....
the elliptical thing I do but it's if one hand swings and hits the center of elliptical or handle bar I have to do the opposite one

and I do this thing were in certain situations I have to spin counterclockwise....im pretty sure I look like one goofy ass dude just randomly spinning. lol

Nail biting and hair plucking are my current compulsions. I have no finger nail left on my baby fingers from biting them down so much and my finger nails bleed often. Hair plucking started recently for me. I also pick at my finger nails often and pick away at the skin beneath and around my nails with pins or staples at work.

When I was younger I went through a brief thing with hand washing. If my hands came into contact with anything, I would wash them right away.

Another weird thing I did when I was younger would be making sure that any light that hit my eye would effect my whole eye. If I was sitting down near a lamp that was on my right, I would look over at the lamp every one in a while and made sure that it would hit my left eye too.

I've probably plucked a dozen hairs and picked my nails a few times typing this...

And yes I am super ****ing smart.

I bite my nails like crazy. I always have. I don't think I have met anyone that bites his/her nails as much as me, and I am not bragging about that. It bite them so much that infections don't even bother me anymore. Disgusting, I know.

That's fvcking weird...... I've done that too. I don't look for it per se but if I look at the sun with one eye closed I'll look at the sun with the other eye so it's blinded too. Fvckin weird lol

ha im the same way....I can almost always tell if something of mine as been used and it annoys the hell out me....lol....it's like my brain takes a pic of the situation when i leave my stuff alone and I can tell when something's off

I'm similar but I need things to be even. I try to end things with my right side. I'll hit the last step with my right foot or if I use my left to push an elevator button I'll hit the same button with my right. Sometimes I'll hit a button twice because it's an even number.

Those are mild "ocd's" for me. My BIG o e is volume. The volume has to be on an even number and if it's not digitally displayed I'll count the clicks lol.

I would say that is probably the most common form of OCD. I used to be the same way when I was a kid. When I would accidentally rub my arm onto something, I would have to rub my other arm on it too. There are still times when I get the urge to make things "equal" like that.

i told my wife about this thread last night and we went thru it aND GOT SOME LAUGHS. she also insisted i tell yall about how whenever we have company over to the house and im grilling out, whenever the food is done and i bring it in off the grill i have to shower before i can eat and i make everyone wait until i have showered.. LOL.. it takes like less than 5 minutes as i have no hair but i cant eat dinner when im dirty and i have to wash the smoky smell off me!

also none of the dogs (we have 2) can lick themselves in my presence. the noise drives me crazy..
