I feel ya, it seriously enrages me when people damage or steal other property. but you have to get a photo or catch them in the act.

Sorry to hear that, man. I freaking hate thieves too. Still not sure what part of TN you're in, but if I see some mother scratcher trying to sell me a compressor here in Nashville, I'll hit him for you just to be on the safe side.

The bad part is, they had to have stole in in broad daylight, WHILE MY SON WAS MOWING! The compressor sits behind our mower and is hidden, so it almost had to be while he was out mowing, some punk @$$ drove by and saw it sitting in the building and snatched it. I get madder the more I think about it...

I deal with thieves everyday day so f**cking sick of them. Cops do f**k all usually a drug addict I wish I could hang one in the store and leave him/her there on "display". Had a smash and grab, had cameras I know who it was and so do the cops but without a real good high def night vision camera it was considered inconclusive. Now I leave the lights on and bought 2 real nice cameras. Goofs.

Prime example of why sh!t is so expensive these days. Look at all the extra expense you have incurred just to try to keep your inventory in the store!

Yep I also bought a lot more displays to keep stuff behind glass. Only keep big stuff on the floor now. Its an everyday thing in my life. They will steal anything. I have had sockets stolen from a set, a remote from a TV, a sign that sat on the walk way in the plaza things I never even thought of. I watch EVERYTHING now.

Reaper's suggestion about looking on craigslist is a really good one. We were able to find a couple of stolen items from where I work via the d-bags trying to sell them on there.

Well, hopefully you'll be able to find both the compressor and the dildo that took it.

Why fake? Real ones are easy to set up and not expensive if you get them at Costco on sale. I got a 8 camera system I have had for several years for $400? They show better video quality than most security cam at warehouses from what I have compared to.

OdinsOtherSon, for about $80 or less you can get a trail cam that are made to take pictures or video (set it to video) in the woods of animals. They are fairly small, batteries will last several weeks or months with little use/motion and you can hide it up in a corner of your shed pointed at the door. Night vision is not bad either.

I had several at my moms house after she died and the meth head neighbors broke in. I had 3 in trees outside and one in the fireplace. I still have 1 left I am actually selling on CL since my house already has 8 cameras outside and 2 inside.

Yeah thieves suck. I had 2 ATV stolen from the outside of my house the 1 time I left them out front after riding since we were going the next day. trailer and all. They cut 2 big cable locked through the trailer wheels and a padlock off the tongue.

I had 3 ATV stolen from my moms house 3 days after she died by the same meth head neighbors who broke in. Again they had to cut a lot of cables, break into the garage through the back door and took them at least 30 min to break the master lock tongue lock before pulling up with a truck, cutting the side fence to the yard since my truck was parked to block the gate and take the trailer, atv, tools and everything else they could load up. $20K worth.

Think they knew no one was home??? punk a$$ meth head. Reminds me, I still need to do some payback and the timing is about right.

Thanks guys. Just put a lock on the building and got a solar security light since the building doesn't have power ran to it...lived here 12 yrs with no issues. Neighborhood going to hell in a hand basket.

Think they knew no one was home???
Man, the scary part is...I think someone WAS home. My son was out mowing but had gone back to his aunt's house, about 100 yards away. I'm going to keep an eye on craigslist as suggested. Boy, if I see it....mmmmmmmmmm

They act just like zombies. Meth turns humans into zombies. Think 'I am Legend' - but the zombies are after Will Smith's jewelry and electronics instead of his blood.

Good idea bro...we used one of these at work to catch a guy leaving during night shift when he wasn't supposed to be. You're right...they work great. I just might have to do this. Also, I can set on out on the road to try and snag a license plate # too. Thanks lovbyts!! You've got me scheming now!!

video surveillance is no longer for businesses only. More and more private citizens are taking advantage of lower priced technology.

And it makes total sense. Like I said, I've been here 12 years and this is the first time anything like this is ever happened. But you're right, I'm gonna have to take advantage of the wonders of technology.

I had a 300.00 tree stand stolen out of a tree last year and I was fvckin pissed. Whoever it was is damn lucky I didn't walk up on them in the act or they most likely would still be walking around with a 125 gr Spitfire Maxx (broadhead) in their ass.

On a side note. If you're gonna be using the game/trail cam. You'll need to spend a little extra to buy the "black out" style camera's. Otherwise you'll get a infrared glow at night when the theif triggers the motion sensor and it snaps the picture/video. It would be impossible not to see this glow at night and you would probably end up with a stolen game camera in addition to whatever else. I personally hate Moultrie, but would highly recommend the primos truthcam blackout camera's.

Hope you find them. There are some countries that cut off your hand if you steal. Western countries are to soft on crimes like this. Good luck mate
