Rest In Peace T-Gunz
I just wanted to let everyone know that our brother T-Gunz (monitor) -Tommy is no longer with us. He was a great guy and a fighter, but alas, he lost his battle with cancer. We received this new yesterday and wanted to convey it to everyone here that knew him... We are deeply saddened by this Tommy was a good kid and many of us really thought he'd beat this.
Please keep Tommy's family and friends in your thoughts and prayers
RIP brother... You will be missed.

And I will say to a fallen brother "Rest in Peace". Even thought I never knew I will show respect as I have become a member of this family. So with that I'll say a short prayer for the survivors. ...crazy mike

Such a hard loss for I have no doubt. Many friends. Family. Loved ones and even people like me who never got to actually know him. But. Looking over some if the above quotes from members known to him or not almost brings a tear to this 240lb guy. Not something I'm used to experiencing. Maybe losing too many family to cancer. Maybe just pure empathy for what his family must be feeling. I send you my sincerest prayers with the deepest heartfelt feelings for your family and pray your in a place now out if discomfort and filled with your wildest dreams. An endless happiness where all your friends and family before you are there with open arms to welcome you.
Rest in peace
Live your dreams forever.
Blessings and prayers for your family.

I got to know Tommy fairly well (as much as one can via the net) between this board and another he was a moderator for (and I a member of). Later on, we became Facebook friends and had a few good conversations over the years.
Recently, I noticed he had unfriended me from Facebook, so I private messaged him asking why, as we had nothing but good times together. He told me that he was feeling really bad, fighting this cancer, and didn't want to see my posts about bodybuilding, pics of food, etc. - this was the last thing he wanted to think about. He was just trying to surround himself with loved ones and remain positive. We had a long talk that day, a few laughs, and I just told him that if he ever changed his mind and just wanted to talk, I was there.
That was the last time I spoke with Tommy. He felt like a little brother of sorts... such a positive, good-spirited kid. His light will never go out.
Gone, but never forgotten. RIP brother, I hope you're making some great gains on the other side.
Sincerely your bud, ~GB
