depends - do you go to the gym to socialize and stalk while you lift some weights or do you go to the gym for self improvement and to bust your ass without a bunch of chit-chat?

I personally would go the the hardcore gym.Everybody is different but when I go to the gym I block everyone out and could careless if my friends are there. The other thing for me would be that I've been married forever and not looking to hook up with anyone at the gym so the women thing wouldn't make a difference.
Just my opinion for what its worth.

I agree, hard core gym for you. Get your moneys worth. And besides the reason one usually goes to the gym is to get all buff in the first place. Although some guys and girls are lonely in their lives and go there to socialize. It depends on which you are. So once you get your body in shape you can always chase tail elsewhere.

What is 'off season'? What do you compete as?

In answer to your question, I would join the gym that you don't.

"off season" for me means basically an excuse to get fat under the pretense and delusion that if I was a competitive bodybuilder then that would be a perfectly acceptable thing to do, especially in a rainy, dark and damp country like England where we would be lucky to get more than 20 days sunshine in a given year, meaning our clothes mainly stay on 99% percent of the time, expect when I am in the bedroom with one of my many girlfriends or as I suspect in your case when you are down in the local brothel.

Hence why this is more of a dilemma for me and perhaps not so much for you.
Competitive BB'ers don't get fat. That's your excuse, off season lmao. Fair weather dieter, that's a better term for it.

I live in England, I get more than 20 days sunshine where I live. You want to move away from all that smog, it's doing your brain no good.
