Are you a bad driver?
It's amazing that everyone really and truly believes they are great drivers, and everyone else sucks. I was shocked yesterday to hear a guy refer to himself as a "Terrible Driver".
Anyone care to admit?~ PLEASE DO NOT ASK FOR SOURCE CHECKS ~

Nope.. I truly am a great driver. And I'm a nice driver. I let people go ahead of me and if they cut me off I make excuses for them like, oh he must be in a hurry to get somewhere.
I don't drive like a pvssy though, I always go 5 over the speed limit.

I have road rage also, but only when the person is stupid. Example, teen passes me and then turns right as soon as he does. I get this at work all the time, its not easy to stop a 10000+ pound box truck on a dime.

I do over 100k miles a year and have no accidents since I was 18 when I was inexperienced and ran out if talent.
Driving in texas was quite goid compared to the west coast everyone stuck tothe speed limit compared to the west which was something outta Mad Max

I normally drive the speed limit ( due to a speeding ticket issues) but I am horrible at road rage.I try to be polite and keep the windows up when I scream profanity at the top of my lungs.

I'm a great open road driver. 100+ mph texting with one hand, typing on the computer with the other and driving with a knee lol.
In the city I let my wife drive. I get to frustrated when traffic is congested.
One of the reasons I married her, she will outdrive most men. She was running quarter mile races and pulling 3rd gear scratches in high school lol.

I used to drift my truck every chance I had
I have had multiple speeding tickets
50 over
2 30 over
3 20 over
2 15 over
I have lost my license 4 times for speed and fines
I now drive a grand caravan and have two little boys
I try to take it easy now
I will say I was a cocky bad driver

Nice, my old car would do 151 on the gps, only a 3l V6 with 220bhpbut short perfect ratio box suited to the peaky engine characteristics very aerodynamic.
We call them kawakas over here. Never had a bike personally but a good friend has had loads of mad stuff and been around them years, I wouldn't get one due to the fact I'd be hoovered up if Icrashed one.

I drive pretty well. I do speed when on a major highway - that's about it. No accidents..... No violations other than speeding in Florida.
When the gf drives..... I'm stressed the fvck out. She looks for reasons to tell at people. Drives me nuts.

I have had many complements over the years from friends and family about my driving and being able to judge other drivers on what they are going to do (usually stupid things) before it happens and avoiding accidents.
I'm not 100% perfect by any mean. No excuses and I catch myself at times and change my habit if I think it's bad.
I also get angry/yell at STUPID drivers daily. Some people just should not have a license and many may not actually be licensed.
When I was teaching my wife and she was going through driving school I put a sign on the back and side of her car saying Caution, Female Asian Student driver. lol
I have drilled into her head, my older daughter and teaching the 8yr old driving do's and donts such as DONT every do a panic stop or erratic lane change because you are about to miss your exit. Simply continue driving and take the next exit and go back. I HATE those people who do that with no regards to anyone else or what might happen. Same thing goes for making lane changes when at a stop light and sitting 1/2 in one lane and blocking the other. Simply go to the next street and turn around.

I'd like to say that I'm a perfect driver, but it's unlikely when the idiot@ss people around me make it impossible.
I probably p!ss off a lot of people because I don't ride the bumper of the person in front of me.There are 3 loves in my life: my wife, my English mastiffs, and my weightlifting....Man, my wife gets really pissed when I get the 3 confused...

228mph at the end of a quarter mile. Have been way too fast on the highway also but that was a long time ago....
PS agree with Chadcuz on the heavy load deal, so many times towing race cars to the track some moron in a car will cut in front of you and hit the brakes....I always try to stay in either the right or left lane on the highway when towing a heavy loaded trailer as more than once being able to swerve onto the median is the only thing that kept me from smashing into some moron.Last edited by Far from massive; 12-23-2013 at 04:02 AM.

Useless we had a maxima in texas, all the decent cars were gone due to the race weekend in austin, on a side note the women behind the alamo desk had epic fake tits, I digress sorry, the maxima would only do 130mph which was pityful tbh for a 3.5 V6 with 290bhp terrible car also handled like a boat and wasnt comfortable dunno how you can manage to wngineer that into a car

I drive around 10mph over the speed limit on freeways. A little less on city streets. School zones i slow right down though. I don't ever tailgate and if someone is tailgating me, I let them know I don't appreciate it. When traffic is merging, I will always let 1 car in ahead of me, don't like it when the 2nd car tries to sneak in tho. So yeah I reckon i'm a pretty solid driver. Also super careful when I merge as I have seen enough motorbike accidents, those guys can come out of nowhere sometimes.
Everyone drive safe this Christmas season!!!
