i almost forgot!
there was this short drainage tube that was poking out of my abdomen and connected to this little suction bottle. right before discharge, they told me that they needed to remove the tube. fine by me. so the guy says this may feel strange so hang on. holy shit! there was over two feet of tubes in my guts, and when he pulled it out, i could feel my intestines, my prostate, my bladder, everything down there was moving/crawling around. on the first pull, i said "holy shit". on the second pull, i just dropped the F bomb.
then i asked him if he was going to stitch up the hole....
"naw... no need!"
huh?
apparently, since they didn't cut, but instead seperate muscle fiber, it just snaps shut on it's own. he even told me to take the little bandaid off when i shower so it will clean up.
the did wreck my belly button. what was once a proud "outtie" is now just a normal thing, with wrinkles and crevices. bummer

thanks mates!
i've been doing some reading, and i'm fairly convinced that my episode last may was an appendicitis attack in which i recovered. it's rare, yes, but my symptoms were similar, just not as severe. i think i'll not be so slow to go to the hospital in the future.
anyways, it's in the past now, and i've got a few days left of vacation before i have to go back in the shit.

i agree. i've lost a full 50 pounds now, and it aint because i'm not eating enough. i eat like a horse!
i'm pretty sure once back in the gym, i'll be ok. but i'm on trt, and so even with the massive weight loss, i've still retained a sculptured look. just smaller is all.

Sorry to hear this buddy. Same thing happened to my kid bruv a few years ago. Misdiagnosed, delayed operation and burst appendix. Needed to wear a drain and bag for a couple of weeks after a week in hospital.
I've had tubes pulled out of my body too. Weird sensation, and not in a good way.
Hopefully this is the end of your ailments and you are now on the up.NO SOURCES GIVEN

one of the symptoms of an appendicitis attack is an inability to eat. not even the urge to eat.....
.....if you can't drop a deuce, then where is this digested food supposed to go?
hell, for about a day and a half, i couldn't even take a leak while at the hospital. but they non stop have an IV bag running through your veins. you may not be drinking, but you can run 5 or 6 litres of fluid through your veins without realizing it. so even THAT was becoming quite painful.
it was just a fukked up situation no matter how you look at it.

there is a reason mal practice insurance is so high....
there are procedures that protect you from the ritalin.. who (documented in your medical records?? ) handed it to you?? and a rupture due to scheduling, they have to support the change in order.. maybe the other guy had a fork in his eye..The answer to your every question

TR I have 5 powerful words to help you through all this mess.... Rubins, Case, Rubins, Cambiano, and Bryant...Attorneys at Law. As this is definitely a malpractice case in it's worst scenario. Remember three little words as well Sue Baby Sue! And then the next time you have a cramping feeling you can rub all those 100 dollar bills from your lawsuit all over the spot to make you feel better..

i don't think it was the nurse' fault who gave me the ritalin. i asked her who put the ritalin down as something to give me at 9:30 at night. she wouldn't say anything. i think there has to be seminars the nurses go to to prevent saying the wrong thing to avoid lawsuits. just a guess though.....

thanks you two.
so the nurse, prior to discharge, was going through my med list and was telling me all that i can no longer take. she gets to the test and says, that has got to go!
i tell her "you do know my body no longer produces testosterone , right"?
she looks at me quizzically, and then says "ok, just don't take it while you are taking the antibiotics"
my lord.....!?

How did this get worse? Have they apes working there? These people are meant to be professionals in their fields.

i don't know. for the most part, they are pretty good i guess. my dad was there and this one cute Philippine lady was there, asking questions. he was kinda harassing her because ESL. (yeah, he's a bully). she acted as if he hadn't said anything. so there is some professionalism going on there.

You are a paitent man, I was only ever in hospital once thankfully it went well but still wasn't my favourite experience in the world.
Due to my injuries I turned into the human class subject loads of surgery students were brought to me like as if I was an injured animal was a bit intrusive but suppose has to be done.

Another uneducated person who is basing her medical advise on feelings and media hype. Obviously she knows nothing about test or she would realize she is opening herself up for a medical malpractice suit.
You she have just kept asking why? Why? Why? And see what logic she tried to use.Last edited by lovbyts; 12-27-2013 at 04:11 PM.
