You know, we/I joke about these things and my HAW has some of the strangest homeopathic remedies, but I shit you not, this stuff can work miracles at times. I'm sure that magic yellow cream is something weird like donkey jizz, but as strange as it seems to me and for reasons that rarely make any sense at all, the stuff works.

I had an IBS attack one night. She went to her voodoo bag of magic positions and pulled out a tonic that looked like someone had put a lizard in a blender and pulverized it to a neon green liquid. It smelt worse than rotting ass but 10 minutes after she rubbed that stuff on my stomach, the stomach cramping and constipation......GONE!

I mentioned here in a thread I posted in 2012, when we got married in Vietnam, I ate a live cobra heart one night. The damn thing was still beating when I swallowed it whole! The locals told me it was an aphrodisiac and make men "stronger in bed". I laughed and figured it was some joke to get the stupid white guy to eat a living snake heart. Well sir, Pfizer and its Viagra ain't got NOTHING on cobra heart. Holy crap my libido was nuclear for a few days!!!!!!

when i was younger, i actually went to a few months of wkend classes on traditional herbal medicine. and it wasn't cheap. about USD 3k for a few months. at that time, it all seemed rather interesting. the balance of yin and yang, and metal, wood, water, fire, and earth. blah blah lol.

now i wish i had spent that money on gear!

I think their is a place for both eastern and western medicine. I would like to see more availability of the eastern meds in US.

I don't disagree. We rely too much on "pills" to cure or treat everything when clearly there are other options available.

Ill bet the yellow cream has Yellow Ginger in it. They use that for a wide variety of stuff. It's hard to find over here.

I think so too, but we would need perspective. You can't replace western medicine when it comes to cancer treatment with an eastern approach where they believe that illness is an imbalance of the chi. incense burning and chanting along with meditation don't cut it for me when it comes to cancer.

I had a friend that would go in for acupuncture to treat her allergies. She said it worked. Could this be the power of positive thinking, like the placebo effect? I don't know...

So you are saying Filipinos are more educated, being up on current science? lol Yeah I think for the most part they have a pretty good mix of medicine and naturalpathic cures for the most part.
