I mentioned here in a thread I posted in 2012, when we got married in Vietnam, I ate a live cobra heart one night. The damn thing was still beating when I swallowed it whole! The locals told me it was an aphrodisiac and make men "stronger in bed". I laughed and figured it was some joke to get the stupid white guy to eat a living snake heart. Well sir, Pfizer and its Viagra ain't got NOTHING on cobra heart. Holy crap my libido was nuclear for a few days!!!!!!

when i was younger, i actually went to a few months of wkend classes on traditional herbal medicine. and it wasn't cheap. about USD 3k for a few months. at that time, it all seemed rather interesting. the balance of yin and yang, and metal, wood, water, fire, and earth. blah blah lol.
now i wish i had spent that money on gear!

I think so too, but we would need perspective. You can't replace western medicine when it comes to cancer treatment with an eastern approach where they believe that illness is an imbalance of the chi. incense burning and chanting along with meditation don't cut it for me when it comes to cancer.
I had a friend that would go in for acupuncture to treat her allergies. She said it worked. Could this be the power of positive thinking, like the placebo effect? I don't know...
