    Best OTC for pip

    Isn't know where to post this...so here is my question. I've got bad pip in my quad and want to work legs tomorrow. What have some of you used as a temp fix for pip. I was thinking a heating pad tonight then icey hot before the gym. Maybe some bear to go along with it.

    Was going to say both of what you said. My first cycle never went anywhere without my icy hot.

    Ibbrofen too might help

    As Gixx suggests, ibuprofen is generally effective. 400mg - 1.2g but don't use the higher dose unless absolutely necessary. I find a heating pad and massage for a few days to be effective. The massage will be uncomfortable but as long as its not an infection, it will help move the gear around and improve absorption when heat is added.

    I've used 800mgs of ibuprofen for weeks on end a prescribed by my doc for after a surgery. I wouldn't advise taking a lot of it for a long period of time but for a workout you should be good.

    The massage will definitely help..... But you'll need someone to doit for you to get the intense pressure and you'll just hafta grit and bare it

    Hahaha. Thanks guys. This MF hurts. I really don't give a shit except I want to work my legs tomorrow. I guess I'll load up on ibuprofen and see how it goes.

    I take about 600mgs myself, 2x a day for it. Heat and massage as well. Works pretty good.

    If I get pip I find that it really helps to work that muscle.

    You might have to slowly work up to your heavy sets, but I find this to be very helpful.

    Bout to head out to the gym. Jacked up on Advil. I did 3 sets of body squats and it seemed to loosen it up a bit. Thanks for the advice. And shit talking. Always a good time in the forum
