    Which gym would you chose

I'm a member to "platnium fitness" and ive been a member for about 4 years wen it was originally golds. I pay 26 a month for my golds membership, recently they been hassling me to change to the platnium membership which is 19 a month, normally that's pretty sweet but wen I went to change they were gonna charge me 100 for enrollment fees. **** that... So I found a gym that's the complete opposite of platinum. It's owned by a powerlifting that's a real nice guy. And the gym is sick one of the rooms is a dungeon with ropes sledgs tires, chains, bands. This is where I'll spend most of my time. But this gym is 34$ a month flat no enrollment fee.

What I'm getting to here is what gym would you chose??? I hate joining gyms cus then I gotta get accustomed to it, so I need that extra push to figure this out.

I dont' like corporate, so I prefer the personal gym... don't have all the equipment you need/want?? that's good, you'll need to do different things, which in turn will cause your body to continue to grow..

    good luck

Easy choice for me.. dungeon all the way. It's only an extra $8/mo which I would gladly pay to be in a more serious gym.

I'd say the personal gym , no contract no bullshit. But that depends on if they have all the equipment I need.

If you can afford the dungeon and that's where you want to train, what's the problem?

In my opinion there is no choice personal gym all the way! The owner of our gym (who does not lift or do cardio) comes around after you workout and ask what kind of equipment should be added its awesome!

personal gym. youre directly helping out a guy and his family. you wont be annoyed by noobs taking a bench to do one set and ****ing up your rotation. it probably doesnt have a pool or sauna but its up to you how important that is to you.

Dungeon all the way dude. Sounds sick. I wish there was one here in Vegas.

Not a power lifter... so the dungeon has no major appeal to me... however, I would tell the corp gym to fvck off!

Hey, there are some nice LVAC gyms in Vegas. The one on Rainbow and Vegas in particular.

I could care less what gym I go to as long as it has the equipment I need. I go there, put my headphones on, talk to none, do my workout and leave.

    Thanks

If you can get a home gym, this is the way to go. The start up costs can be pretty steep and if the OP is like me, he wouldn't have the space for one.

Not if you know how to shop. Most people hardly ever use their gym equimpent and you can find some GOOD deal locally on craigslist.

Used squat rack and rusty iron.

But, powerlifting gym with the local owner for sure. Sometimes space is an issue, not everyone can have a home gym.

The equipment really isn't really the issue. Although the costs can still be high buying a gym's worth of equipment. My biggest problem would be having a place to keep it all at. I guess maybe I could get a temperature controlled storage unit large enough. But if I'm going to go to all that trouble, I might as well just keep paying for a gym membership.
