I've talked about this young bull at my gym before.........
I'm guessing under 30. Looks like he uses Synthol. Yes, his musculature is large, but no vascularity, and no muscle striation. He's short, maybe 5'6" or so. He comes in, and is on some kind of thermogenic. Sweats his ass off. So I've been watching him lately. Closely. Todays curls utilized a 30lb dumb, for maybe 10 half reps per arm. That's it! His Tris? Rope pull down at maybe a third stack, with only half of full extension, and maybe eight reps. I seen him do maybe three dips today, then he starts talking to this young Hispanic lady, telling her he works out two to three hours a day?? In all the time I have been watching him, he does this pvssy routine, and is in and out quickly. Claims he comes back in later when there are no crowds (is what he tells the young Hispanic lady), but to be honest, I'm usually there early after noon and see him then. and his routines are shit then too.
His triceps don't look right, lumpy, but not right. Same with his traps and delts. Something just doesn't look right.
So he's telling this young lady that he's in the gym six days a week (that's probably true), and with a twelve hour job, and working out two to three hours a day, he only gets four hours sleep a night. I'm thinking with all the therms he takes, THIS is why only four, (too many stims). And we all know a body cannot really grow right if you don't allow it to rest.
I walked out as he was speaking his BS to this young lady, barely able to hold my tongue.......

he's normally a quiet guy, and he seems respectful. So I wouldn't bust his balls.
When I've been watching him, you would expect to see at least vascularity. But I don't. His muscles are... just... there....
but what made me flinch was when he was holding himself out as someone that knows what they are doing.
So say I am TOTALLY wrong with this bloke....
...why would he need to come to the gym early, and then again later?
What, his workout wasn't good enough the first time?
...he'd be more impressive if he kept his shirt on and his mouth shut....

Doubtful you're wrong. He's a young lad peacocking. Some do it with hair, some with clothes, some with physiques. I'm guessing he thinks he looks good although he may also have some confidence issues and is hiding behind his fake 'muscles' to make up for that.

Not to sound like a douche but who cares. He sounds like a gymrat that's tryin to get some ass like all of us. No need to get upset over bs he's tellin a skirt. That would be stepping the line of bro code if u talked shit to him in front of the girl.
If he was a 400lb fat ass at McDonald's that sucks in his gut and acts like he lifts then by all means tear him apart. But he's just a squirrel tryin to get a nut.

I mean. . 30lb dbs are what I use for concentrations. And that's the very last lift of my chest arm day. And I'm little.

well, when I saw it, I expected him to "climb the ladder" and reach for the next heavier weight. but instead, he just put it down and moved on to the next routine?

Sometimes it's better to just work out with blinders on, dont look at anyone. That is one advantage to working out at my gym at work at 2am, no one to distract me or shake my head at. I guess everyone needs cheap entertainment now and again though.
Wouldnt be be nice to be able to fast forward 10 years in the future (as long as you could rewind back to now) and see what he looks like then?
