Sitting in Chair at a Desk for work = Slow Death
It really is crazy how sitting at a desk cripples you. I also was using a laptop which makes it worse.
My shoulders were slightly rounded and my neck was slightly forward. My hip flexors have turned into steel cables and its really effected my squats. A friend pointed it out to me when we trained legs. I didnt even realize how bad it was. I switched to a stand up desk about a month ago and its helped so much. However my hip flexors are still awful?
I stretch everyday but I am not getting that range of motion back.
Does anyone take Yoga? How do you keep the flexibility in your hips as you get older?

Men don't do yoga. That's for broads. Men lift very heavy things and then they put them down.

I use to think it was girly till my sister got certified in it. She asked the family if she could practice her teaching on us and I changed my mind after that. That shits hard as hell, but one thing I learned if you need stretched out, yoga will do it. I also know a lot of warriors who swear by it, it's being used in some cases with helping with PSTD. If you don't think you can handle a regular class, diamond Dallas page DDP if you don't know him is an ex wrestler who has his own kind yoga. I think he has a website for it.

Love yoga and some types are more strenuous unlike Hawthorn where I've fallen asleep.

good to stretch at least once per hour and caring for good pasture does help. I find my shoulders rolling forward and I have to constantly remind myself to stop hugging my monitor.
I would like to squeeze a yoga class in 2 per week but seems they are held late in schedule or during day while this gal is working hard for my money. :/

Hot yoga is fvcking retarded. I don't know how yoga workouts go, but when the gym is hot, it distracts me because I'm focusing on how hot it is in there. Plus, I don't know how intense their workouts are, but intentionally trying to give yourself heat exhaustion isn't a good idea.
And as far as chicks go, I don't go to the gym to pick up dates. I go there to get bigger, faster and stronger. Besides, there are better places to meet women. You don't have to be that guy who creeps around the gym that makes all the women feel uncomfortable until they find another gym to go to.

I have done office work for ages. Just couldn't take it any more & got the complete opposite/ being straight in the sun all day.
Funny thing is that both are a beating.
From doing as much different jobs as I have, something in the middle would be great. Few hours at the office, along some field work.
Just finding that job seems nearly impossible.

I worked in cold operating rooms for years..... It was very mentally stressing.
I then did pre-wire work on new construction homes and businesses..... I also did tree work. Those were physically taxing - especially because I hated being in the sun. I'm always hot.
Now I have the best of both worlds ..... I have a job where I see new shit daily. I report to an office and spend an hour or two and then I'm out in the field doing my own thing. I'm really enjoying my new career
