I'm 52. There were a few women in my life that I did not reach out as you are contemplating. Really great women. One in particular from my teen years. Really beautiful. Smart. Funny. She used to chase me around like you wouldn't believe. But like you, too immature to man up and ask her out. Eventually, she moved on. What a loss!
