So i was at the store buying bananas...............
...........after gym tonight. As many as I eat I go through them pretty fast. I'm in line, and then I hear the checker say "damn dude, your huge". Not looking up, I'm thinking "ok, that's stretching it a bit". And then I do look up. Fvcking Mr. Twiggy with his rubber band arms. "Damn dude, wish I could get huge like that just eating bananas".
............."It's not the bananas mate. Ya just gotta eat"
(what I felt like saying is that Meth is not in the food group.............)
.......in his defense though, I'm sure it was his high metabolism as he pointed out later in the conversation

Happened to me last night too. I was at a local shop looking for a Halloween costume and a younger guy walking down the isle with his head down almost walked into me. He looked up, then looked up higher with a look of shock and said "damn dude, your like a friggin mountain". I just smiled and nodded as he continued on his way. He was about 5'6" maybe 120-140, I'm 6'6" 255, not huge by any stretch, but must have been to him, lol.

today I had one before breakfast, and packing 3 for lunch, along with two apples and two cans of chicken. Today is a rest day, but three days out of four I would eat another banana pre gym as I'm walking in. So usually between four and six a day..........

Fruit as a carb source.... Need to definitely try a week of eating fruit only for carbs. Sounds challenging tbh

it was a discovery process for me. I was getting gym fatigue from oat/tubor based complex carbs, so instead of increasing carbs, I kept them the same but switched from complex to simple from whole fruit only. It has made a significant difference not only in the gym, but I'm more focused at work, and I don't get the end of day mental fatigue/fog I can sometimes get from long durations of intense focus.
I've written threads on it in the nutrition section. Others have discussed it with me too.

I use bananas in my homemade oatmeal/protein bars, I should start eating at least one a day on top of those.

i usually have 2 bananas in my night time meal which consists of 300g cottage cheese, 400g strawberries, 200g banana, 2 servings froot loops all in a big bowl. its awesome! i also mix almond milk and 2 stevia packs and a splash of vanilla extract into the cottage cheese to get it just right.

I did, for a brief period, post a pic a few years back. I was probably 230 at the time. not a great pic, selfie, with a tank top on. left it there for a week or so, then pulled it due to concerns about my profession and identifying that career with my efforts here.
But no, I have no pics of when I was 195 back in april when I came home. I looked like death warmed over. cheeks sunken in, and obviously not in good health. so my progression is not a normal one in the sense of the weight I'm regaining. When I did gain some weight back quick around May of this year, too much fat. So the recomp and the lengthy discussions of TDEE (all the threads I started), and now my bf% is pretty low for me.
Thanks for the encouragement. I may post a pic one day again, but for professional reasons, I really can't leave it there for too long. I'm sure you are in a similar boat about the anonymity thing?

The real problem is trying to find good bananas. Most of them in the store have little taste. You should try fresh bananas in Asia. Big difference.
