Perspective
I dislike comparing myself to others but every once in a while, it's a happy place to visit.
Is it possible to lose perspective as we are chase a bf%?

It's natural to compare ourselves with others. One of the biggest reasons I love to train is because it's my own success; it's totally dependant on me and no one else. I'm in competition with the me I was yesterday. However, I too compare myself to others. If I see someone bigger or stronger than me, it makes me push harder. If I see someone out of shape, weaker or smaller, it makes me feel better. Training is something that sets me apart from the masses.
...and it's always nice to get stares from the opposite sex.

Hmmm
From my own experience, I finally feel confident. I'm in my mid 30's and sure wish I had this kind of attitude & confidence when I was younger.
It does suck that it had to come from my own physical appearance. Others have that naturally from just being themselves.
I was always a skinny kid, then a pile of an adult with low self esteem & a low drive in general.
After hitting the sauce I started to see everything in a dif light. Some of this really caused some issues - but, now I'm past it
When I briefly compare myself to others around me it just cheers up my day almost instantly.
Shallow, maybe - but, it makes me feel pretty damn good about being me
