Anyone here have a sleeping disorder?
I am tired all the time despite getting 8 hour or more of sleep, I never feel rested when I wake up, and my test. is low. I did a take home sleep study because my insurance would not cover one in the lab. The doctor concluded from the results of the take home sleep study that I do not have sleep apnea. They are trying to get my insurance to cover an in lab study to further access my sleep quality. I am curious if anyone here has a sleeping disorder other than sleep apnea that prevents them from getting good sleep. And if so what did you do to treat it?

I have night terrors. I told my wife I was going to cut her throat in my sleep, I have strangled her in my sleep, I tore my bedroom door off the hinges just a few weeks ago. I walk outside in just my boxers and am gone for hours. I have driven my car in my sleep. The VA is lining me up a sleep study but needless to say, it will happen when hell freezes over.

I have night terrors also. I'm always waking up at night and I've squeezed my gf really tight and threw her off the bed before. The VA is constantly switching up my meds, ramping up the dosage making me feel like sh!t so I just stopped taking anything. I'm in the process of trying to get some help out side the VA because their pretty much useless.

I have problems getting to sleep. Especially lately. I'm not worried about anything, I just can't fall under. I used to drink Childrens Benedryl but the 50mg of active ingredient isn't doing it for me anymore. I've tried other OTC remedies and none of them work (even the other type of Unisom). Melatonin doesn't help either. So I've been just laying there waiting to drift off for the 3-4 hours I can get and just go to work the next day all exhausted and groggy only to get the same thing the next night.
Eventually, I get to that point where my body just shuts down and I sleep for like 10-12 hours for a few days and then back to the same old.

Yeah, my main issue is getting to sleep unless I am dead tired - or like now, staying asleep.
It's like mind won't stop thinking of every day dumb life shit. Nothing super important, just dumb crap like the I gotta do this & that tomorrow.
Even when I fall asleep I can't stay asleep past 5-6 hours. This all happened after coming off some shit I that shouldn't have been on in the first place.
Now my only cure is anti anxiety meds. I have been trying to do without them, but it's not working too well. Even if I fall asleep I have been waking up too early with anxiety.
And thanks to this my woman thinks I'm back on shit or a complete weirdo who has to stay on something just to get by. And I sort of agree to a point, we should not need to be on shit to feel right. But, what do you do if that's how you are?
Oh well, I'll figure it out eventually.

I take half an Ambien several times a week otherwise I wake up almost every hour and no its not sleep apnea, it's fibromyalgia. I've tried taking a couple different things for it and it works for a few weeks but then I go back to like before. After about 1 hour of laying in bed and not moving every joint hurts.

I have night terrors too. I scream at the top of my lungs, I swear and yell like im having a confrontation with someone and punch walls and one time I actually had my arm around my girlfriends neck and was choking her. That scared the crap out of me I felt so terrible. I also have difficulty falling asleep at times.

All I have is mild apnea. I got a CPAP which helps, but nothing like what others are experiencing. Ambien helps but lately it has been taking an hour to kick in. Hope others get some much needed help.

Something has to be going on with me... I am 25 years old and pretty healthy and my total test is 280ng/dl. I have been taking 25mg of clomid everyday since early October (prescribed by my endo.) and either it isnt taking effect yet or im not responding to it because I feel no improvement.

Yes I have had an mri done so no issues there... And yes Kel is awesome he agreed that Clomid was a good option to try because I am still young and would like to have kids some day.

Any experience with toremifen? How about hcg ?
My fathers HRT doc would prescribe a low dose of hcg over 45 days or so and then blood test him. 150iu for 45 days.

No experience with either one of those... I did ask my endo about using HCG and he said its very difficult to get covered by the insurance companies. I go back in February for blood testing.
