Yeah I worked in a wood yard for about 2 years because the girl I was dating her dad had a yard with about 100 cords of wood, mostly maple and alder so I worked with him all the time. He would get in a logging truck of logs and have it dumped. I got good at walking trees cutting into lengths, splitting and stacking or delivering with him. I never worked as an actual logger falling trees although I have done a bit but not professionally.

My dad always bought the cheap store brand chain saws that last about 1yr with light use. I like my new Stihl, it's a light pull. You dont have to pull hard. It sort of winds up and then turns over. Even a 98 lbs girl could start it or a 185 man with bad shoulders. lol

The way he handled it was great on many levels. #1 he put the guy in his place by telling him he was not called on. #2 he did not back down or let the guy ruffle his feathers. #3 he had the guy removed like he said he would, not like Bernie sanders letting those 2 women take over his speech and run him off the stage. #4 he let the guy back in and ask his questions only when it was his turn and when he tried making a speech instead of asking questions Trump stopped him and took each statement piece by piece and gave good precise answers.

My fiancé is spanish. Her family is fairly conservative. They don't care too much about politics because they believe all politicians suck. Her father came from DR and they had one hell of a past so he's just happy to be in America. Mind you..... He came over legally and is a legal US Citizen.

My fiance's mother doesn't like trump. Says he's a racist because he threw out the spanish news caster. Now my fiancé tried talking to her about it but her view won't be swayed. I thought they were more logical than that but what can you do? I told her if he gets the republican nomination I will be registering to vote BECAUSE of him.

There are exceptions to every rule and yes there are some where it really is the right thing to do. Should we or the state (still we) have to pay for it? I dont think so. i think good parenting has a lot to do with both gender issues and mental health issues. it's too bad the state oftentimes has to take on the expense of dealing with incompetence at the parent or family level. that being said, i don't see a lot of alternatives as i think our society would be worse if mental health in particular received less support than it does now. the gender thing is a different matter in my book. that is someone's choice and they need to figure out how to address it (and take the responsibility).

Yeah the whole mental health issue is another one of those that the government (mostly left) screwed up. They consider themselves as advocates for those who can not protect or defend themselves but most of the time (IMO) they do more harm than good. They made it illegal and almost impossible to incarcerate in jail or an institution unless someone has seriously physically injured someone or worse even if multiple family members agree it's what's best.

Yes the way it was 50+ years ago was barbaric in many ways but it needed fixed, not abolished. They have done the same thing with many groups claiming they are protecting them from exploration such as what use toe called circus freaks. They made it illegal for the circus to exploit/employ them but did not offer any alternative. But as history has shown over and over poloticains do not learn from mistakes for the most part and when something doesn't work they just throw more (of our) money at it.
