Obese out numbers over weight
Just seen a sad disturbing study today that now in the Great USA obese people out number the "over weight" people.
2/3 of us women and 3/4 of us men are either over weight or obese. 67.6 million Americans over the age of 25 were obese and 65.2 million were over weight.
And the govt says steroids are the devil what about McDonald's on every corner of the U.S.?
Just some numbers for everyone keep up that hard work!

Now that we are a minority can we get special treatment?
-

Minority is an under statement. I would love to see the percentage of people who are not only not over weight but are physically fit. But I guess than it would be tough to say what defines physically fit.

Fat is a choice. When it's not, it's entirely rare.

Us government is partly to blame not fully but they do allow food companies to dump chemicals and hide sugar in literally everything also let farmers pump cattle full of estrogen and trenbolone then throw pink slime and ammonia on it before it hits the store and the list goes on and on. all in the name of making a profit this kind of stuff was once illegal but lobbyist with lots of money and connections make it happen. I honestly believe the crap that's in our food has something to do with the cancer rate in America 50% of all Americans will have some form of cancer in their lifetime and that number is only going up and we simply don't see those kind of problems in other countries. not to mention other health problems like diabetes/heart problems and extreme obesity it is honestly a food epidemic

This is exactly my thought
More sedentary jobs, fast food on every corner, food that is loaded with additives that we can't even pronounce and people just plain out giving up on physical life
Even in shape is so hard to even find now - when I say in shape, I mean just normal Bf - A guy under 15% Bf and a female under 30%
And being lenient here

In one case I thought a boy but couldn't distinguish if man boobs? A bit of muffin top. Voice more neutral. Flip a coin.
2nd case a gal with short hair, very petite wearing more menswear.
3rd case. I think a women. Cropped hair, minimal if any makeup, larger hands. Wedding band but on right hand. Again extremely overweight. I had no idea.
My point, a person dressing in "unisex" styling is harder to discern sex if extremely overweight (and probably under weight). Is this overweight condition blending the lines towards gender neutrality?

I'll remember that the next time I am walking through the grocery store and looking at people from their backside.
Good news - I hardly ever get dirty looks from the wife for checking out all the girls. I thought I was getting better at hiding it but I really think it's because there is a lot less I want to check out. Need to talk to my boss about getting another job at the university. ?Last edited by Brett N; 06-25-2015 at 06:44 AM.

I know your joking but you would be surprised how many not so smart doctors their are out their I was talking to a registered nurse. whom is working in a really nice office and making so much money my mind cant comprehend and my dad was telling her that he was on a diet. ( the same diet I lost 65 lbs on in 4 months btw) and she said quote( that it isn't ever going to work and you wont find a diet that does work the way you loose weight is to eat small meals and keep moving ). and she said it like it was medical fact lol I didn't argue with her but you all know thats just plane bs and their was a doctor standing right there and he didn't seem to disagree

it took everything in me to not start explaining to her how the basil metabolic system works but im sure a professional nurse isn't going to listen to some 25 year old telling her she's dead wrong

Dont worry, pretty soon we will change the definition. Size zero will be a size 15, obese will be when you are more than 75% body fat and of course common fat people will be called anorexic.

Well - I know people are getting uglier as I type this
But, my question still remains - who is healthier? The fat gross typical American "or" me
Being flabby & gross looking doesn't mean they are too obese. They do look like a pile of walking dog shit
But, true health wise - who's healthier? Me, pumped full of roids to look awesome & extreme.
Tough call
My heart goes out to the closest to natural athlete. IMO they are the ones out on top.

I'm a lightweight here, but at 6'1 190 I'm classified as overweight by the cdc.
So i think the "statistics" may not be entirely accurate.
Although, i do agree obesity is at an all time high and is a continuing problem
