    Distal Clavical Resection Surgery??

Alright fellas any guys out there had this surgery?
I'm thinking about going through with it. But I'm afraid of never being able to lift again.

    What's the recovery time like?
How close to back to normal are you?

    Thanks for any insight.

It's the very end of your collar bone where it attaches to your shoulder. I had that from a baseball injury.

Had this done during one of my R/C surgeries. An impingement in the clavicle is quite common among weight lifters. Especially those that bench a lot. It's a no-brainer, have it done & forget it. Cant say what the recovery time was though, as I was also recovering from a R/C repair performed during the same surgery. Listen to your Doc about the off-time, it shouldnt be that long...
