it's ridiculous. blacks can be racist too. they may not be able to act on their racism by doing things like shooting innocent people, putting people in shitty schools, and the like but they sure as hell can be racist. Racial Pride is a slippery slope that can turn into racism. Black lives matter is tantamount to a racist movement. There is such a thing as 'acting black.' Black culture in the united states is markedly separate from the average Americans culture. I personally cannot relate to blacks that stereotype themselves, or see things through a racial lens. It's annoying as F_ck.

Then again their race specific culture did arise from a need to survive during slavery and after going through what their race has added to the fact that the covert white power movement is still strong and that they are so visually identifiable it's easy to see why they isolate themselves and see most things through a racial lens. it's a complex shitty situation that their group has to deal with and get over.

I don't need to flex my racial pride flag for Latins. i'm a god damned american and that's all there is to it. F-ck ethnic culture identity, i don't need that as my foundation for person-hood. it doesn't make me feel special. That said though, i will admit it's nice to work/hang with my brown brothers as long as they have adopted western culture well enough. i can't really relate to Latin immigrants or even 2nd generationers. I can tolerate some ethnic diversity, hell i'll even embrace some facets of Asian cultures, but i prefer western culture. The idea that there is an 'american black' needs to go away. we are all Americans. that's how we all need to see it. it will make us stronger. As an American you are supposed to embody all the values that made our country great, PERIOD. Many So called Americans have forgotten what that means. there is only National Identity. don't even get me started on how ridiculous religion is.
