The 04 and 05s EGR valves were undersized and clogged easily. They changed them in 06. With any luck yours is deleted already

More. At the most the 7.3s had 275hp and 525ft-lbs.
    The 6.0s had 325hp, and 575ft-lbs

70 percent of the 6.0 problems were customer induced from performance upgrades to poor maintenance( running to long on oil changes and fuel filter changes)

    This exactly what I read

But, the 7.3 still felt quicker of a mid pedal launch for some reason - I suppose it's because I am used to keeping the 7.3's under the 2500 RPM range

The 6o is quite a bit more high revving

    Both of them are HEUI
Its a limiting factor on performance past a point but you can not beat HEUI for reliability in an injection system.

Drop the oil plug on it goung down the road and your truck will just stop butt cold and will be fine when you put oil back in it.

They do, the little bastard got 300 hp and 500nm tourque, mpg is the same with a stock one, lol. I'm impressed by the fact that it did 100k in this configuration and didin't blew up. But still it's an 1.9. I'd love to have a bigger engine (easier to get horses out of it). But the taxes here are insane. For exemple: Owning a 7.3L, you'll have to pay 2.8k a year plus insurance.

We have a 02 VW TDI that we use for a sales vehicle it has 386,000 miles on it. We've put a set of injectors and 2 turbos on it other than that just services.
If I run it hard on the road (85-95 mph) 46 mpg if I drive it decent 49 mpg.

A friend of mine plays for confederate railroad, and he told me they put a new motor and transmission in every million miles. They are currently putting their fourth motor in!
My cousin plays with them too
