What does it actually feel like when you tear a bicep? Is it terrible pain or I guess what I'm asking is do you absolutely know you've done it right at the moment it happens even if it's a small tear?

For me, when the long head tore off. You heard a small audible pop or tearing sound & a sudden sharp pain. Then your biceps shrivels.
I knew mine was going to happen and I am a PT, so, I knew immediately what it was.
I still tried to do more biceps, but saw it wasn’t possible. So I finished my workout with some abs and cardio.

Like the big man said; no doubt about it for total tears.
If you are aware of what is going on with your body, you should pick up on the fact that you’ve experienced a partial tear. Problem is, not everyone is or they blow it off/mistake it as being muscular & try to fight through it and make a smaller problem much worse.

Redneck life hack....
Anchor a 1/2" cable to your safe top on the side against the wall. Drill a hole in the wall and floor on the outer sheeting/siding. Feed cable through holes.
You can either run it through conduit under ground or just biry and replace every 2 years.
Your safe wont survive a fire unless you are one lucky SOB or have an enormous concrete vault with a ventilation system.
If you live in s brick home use 3/4inch cable and park your dozer nearby.
If you live in a trailer house, sell the shit in the safe and buy a fuckin house.

I was just curious because sometimes the inner part of my arm stings a little but it's not toward the elbow or shoulder. It's like where the inner part of the bottom of my bicep meets the inner part of the tricep. It doesn't sting all the time but I hope it's not a partial tear.
