BTW, thanx in helping keep me occupied today. When workers are over, I can't relax & focus.

One thing I have in my favour is that a lot of people who dislike me drop everything when they find out I was sectioned. Like if you walk into a police station in Ireland and say 'There's this guy Thomas harassing me", then the cop will check my name on the system and just be like "That guy was sectioned 5 years ago". Similarly if they pay a PI to find out where I live or whatever, the PI will tell them that I was sectioned. They tend not to take things any further.
I don't wear it as a badge of honour or anything, but it seems that people are even more stand-offish of people who were sectioned, than they are of people who've been in prison for assault or murder or whatever. I've only spent a total of 5 days in prison in total all my life, but it seems I get given as wide a birth as known killers. Dunno if it's bcoz I smeered my cell with shit.

Why would someone be sectioned?
The Mental Health Act would only be considered if someone was very unwell and will never be taken lightly.
Someone needs to meet certain criteria in order to be sectioned. This criteria is that someone has to be suffering from a mental disorder of a nature or degree which warrants your detention in a hospital for assessment or treatment and that you ought to be detained in the interests of your own health, your own safety or with a view to the protection of others. (Mental disorder is a broad term that includes conditions like schizophrenia, depression, bipolar disorder or personality disorder).

I took approximately twenty 10mg tabs of diazepam per day for 12 days straight. I was totally fucked off my face. I don't know what happened behind the scenes, who went to the cops or what.
What I _do_ know beyond a shadow of a doubt though is that a lot of people didn't tell the truth.
I met a famous poet last year who did a one-person stage performance where he sat on stage quietly while his psychiatric record was read out to him from beginning to end. I had considered doing something similar but my expectation is that my record would be falsified. There was a cover-up surrounding my misdiagnosis.

Hit it and forget it.
Get a girl within walking distance of your house.
Hit that and forget that. Then get a bicycle.
Ride to the next girls house and hit that and forget that. Maybe make the first girl jealous and hit that again a couple times and get a gd car. The world is your oyster.
If you already have a car skip steps one and two.
Unless you just want to.
You aren't ready for a serious relationship.

I arrived back in Northern Ireland lastnight after having been away for 2 weeks. Before I left, I disconnected my car battery in the hope that I'd be able to start it when I got back.
Anyway, I got back lastnight and the car's fine. Well, sort of. I started the engine this morning and let it tick over for half an hour, and then I held it at higher revs for a minute. It's running fine.
But the interior of the car is really really really bad. There's green mould all over the seats and steering wheel and dashboard. I'll have to give it a serious clean before I take it out again.

Normally I’d say thanks for sharing, but damn, that ain’t pretty.
Never a fan of non-alcoholic beer myself, kind of like decaffinated coffee, but understand.
Have a great new year.

I drank beer for a decade and a bit, I acquired a taste for it, and it helps me to slip into relaxed mode. Plus I feel a lot less awkward if everyone else is drinking alcohol and I at least have something that looks like a beer. Erdinger make the nicest non-alcoholic beer.
