I Need GI HeLp
Seriously, I am at a loss
I have been having lower gi issues for the last 3 years. . . Well, I figured it was the drugs < Dropped all of em, including all roids aside from 250mg of a test a week, then I dropped the booze. . . . .This was over two months ago & I feel worse than ever. . . For the last 6 or so, i have been house ridden at least 3-4 out of the 6
Found the inguinal hernia - apparently it isn't shit. The surgeon said: sure, I can fix that, but it will most likely not correct your gI issue < My hernia doesn't protrude & doesn't do shit, but it is there & can theoretically cause an issue one day
It was found when they did a full body CT scan. . . . Which was done at the ER after I got my ultrasound
Ultrasound was perfect & only showed one 3mm gall stone
The Lady MD requested every possible test including h Pylori - which I did test for positive a decade ago, this was done through BW, this time it was a breath test(I should of stuck with the crap test) - it came back negative
Nothing is abnormal anywhere - specially on my last CMP when I was fully hydrated
I am on day 4 of a diet consisting of a self prescribed prevpac. . . . I am at wits end here, I feel something short of death - and everyone has a different answer
So far, I have no clue what to do - I have been stuck in the house shitting 3-6x a day. . . . . . At this point, anything that gets me help isn't tmi for me
Last one up is a Gi with a cam up each end - ok, fine - but, one a biopsy from your gut will be more than unpleasant & two - wtf r u gonna find? If anything was anything it would of showed up on 2 back 2 back scans
And, where/what is the pain right under the right rib cage radiating almost to the belly button & back on the right hand side of the bodyLast edited by < <Samson> >; 04-16-2019 at 04:26 PM.

Dang man, the only thing I can think of right now is maybe switch to very digestible diet for a while. Something simple like ground beef and rice...cottage cheese and yogurt if you don't have lactose issues...soft scrambled eggs.
I'm surprised they haven't blamed it on gluten intolerance. That seems to be the default issue when they can't find anything wrong. There are 3 loves in my life: my wife, my English mastiffs, and my weightlifting....Man, my wife gets really pissed when I get the 3 confused...

Fucked up part is everything else is real good atm. . . . . Shit, I just made it back from driving across the US(east to west). . . No probs at all for 3+ days. . . . I get home, eat out a few times had maybe a beer(not even 2) and less than a week later I'm in a pretzel - and this shit lasts for weeks now. . . . . Wife #2 is at a loss, #1 thinks I'm making shit up - and, I feel like I'm losing my mind. . . . It's like back pain(which luckily hasn't come back), no one can see wtf you're going through
When I was going in for my ultrasound with the intensity of pain I thought I was done for - yet all the organs, checked out A ok
At this point I am thinking it's some sort of erosion - but, how can it come & go?

You got to get alkalinity in your gut.
Cure takes a while. Worst thing that hurts it is eating before bed and opiate, opiate takes pain away temporarily, but stops motility in gut, leaving food just sitting no where to go.
It's like a feeling of "I have to puke and puke and puke to get this out of me"
Try not eating about 2-3 hours before bed, limit dairy, no alcohol, and spicy food
It's not a heart burn feeling, just a tight pain in too of gut right under rib cage, correct?

That was going to be my suggestion as well.
You can also try mixing a little backing soda with some juice to drink when it gets bad. I use to do this. I had an issue for about 1yr but I found the cause, more or less. Crazy coworker was poisoning my food at work, yes really. He got fired for other things and no I never found out what he was putting in it. I dont really want to know.
Are you sure you wife isnt poisoning you? It happens.

IBS? Like everyone else says try the pre and probiotics.
Samson you said you made it cross country 3+ days with no issues. What did you do different? Not kidding.....what was different? McDonalds, Burger King....If you can go 3+ days on the road and your symptoms return when you get back something you are doing at home is probably the issue.
You said...."my diet consists of; chicken, eggs, izikial bread & olive oil"..........maybe too much oil? Try cutting out one thing at a time for a couple of days and see if something really shows it's self to be the problem. Even cut out the protein powder or beer or whatever.

I'm aware that you have been tested for gluten intolerance, have you been tested for other food allergies or intolerance's? There are many that perhaps as well studied as others but could cause significant issues
As 600 said, you went three days without issue..... so it is either something you are doing, eating or a stress reaction which is driving it. Anything you are taking to help digestion issues.... you need to stop if possible and strip everything back.
Start a log of what you are eating, what are you are taking, your stress levels and ultimately how your GI issues are.... be detailed with your log... how many times you are in the bathroom etc. Resist the temptation to start throwing in Probiotics, prebiotics, digestive enzymes etc as these will just mask the issue. The medics so far have obviously drawn a blank, I know the tests came back negative for this or for that... so we aren't interested in that. What you are interested in is what causes the issue... so if the test says negative but you realize gluten is causing an issue, ignore the test and listen to your body.

Get a bag of peppermint candy and spend a day sucking on them as often as you can stand it.
Not kidding.
If it gives any relief, buy some enteric-coated peppermint oil capsule. Peppermint oil has been used to soothe the stomach for ages. I have used it for that (and it worked!) and John Wayne's character mentioned it in the film "True Grit:"
I'll have a peppermint to settle my stomach.
Probiotics also helped me. The good stuff has living bacteria in it so it has to be refrigerated. I bought my at a health food store (same place I got the peppermint oil capsules).
The closest I've found to a "cure" was sucralfate, which is sort of a prescription pepto bismol.

Let me ask
What is your diet like bro ?
Do you eat alot of inflammatory foods ?
I have a terrible stomach and I can tell you going vegan has done wonders for me ...
Yeah yeah I know I'm vegan blah blah no one wants to hear that shit anymore
And I'm not at all trying to convert you but consider reading up on foods that are inflammatory . They will wreck your insides .
Bodybuilders that aren't vegan do have alot of foods that kill the gut.
Consider reading up on it bro.
Glad you kicked the drinking ... Was a good choice for your long term health
