Spiders, heights, needles(more or less overcame this since started taking steroids ). Not uncommon fears.

Used to be terrified of becoming a failure, until it happened. Sucks, but what can you do? I didn’t have the balls to off myself so I keep on keeping on...

Here’s a good one,

You’re 53 & falling apart like a Chinese motorcycle from all the garbage that you have been pumping into your system over the last 2 decades(drugs, booze, roids, etc.)

‘It’s like this” As Obs puts down the beer and lifts his shot glass.

“Like what?” His friend asks while sipping from his beer.

Obs downs his shot and practically empties his beer in 2 gulps.

His friend looks confused.

“Fear” says Obs as he empties his bottle/can (Obs does not use a glass, NEVER) and places it firmly on the table. He takes a drag from his cigarette.

“Fear burns and hurts sometimes, just like that whiskey. It’s unpleasant at first, but you take it in and realize that it was worth the pain . . . the burn. But, like that whiskey, it hits your gut and you start to feel much better. In fact you start to like the taste of fear.”

His friend smiles and takes a healthy drink from his beer.

Obs raises up two fingers and nods to the bar-tender. ‘Two more for me and my fiend here!”

One of my family members got brain damage in their early twenties became a "vegetable". Lived for 4 year's like that.. Totally changed my entire Outlook on life. Changed me to my core. Absolutely terrifying.

The total shoulder is imminent. RC gone & already arthritic.

HBP can lead to a CVA, particularly at more advanced ages. Heart attacks? Meh, either death or surgery. BUT, a nasty stroke with paralysis, inability to speak or comprehend; that scares the f out of me.

My wife says there’s a 40 something old dude at her clinic. A new patient. Says every time that she sees him, she thinks of me (large, decent musculature, lots of ink). Do NOT want to end things like that.

And that's the reason I'm crazy about my blood pressure and monitoring my hemotacrit.

I have never had anything that horrifying close to me


I just hear about it on the news or what not - and, I mean daum - has to b pretty much the worst. . . Near drowning victims or serious brain damage due to trauma < which I have both close contact with(almost drowned when I was 8 & I’ve had about 3 solid concussions). . . Life is so fragile - I have seen people drop from a lot milder than the shit that I have done
