Whatever this virus is, it’s kicking my ass!

Started with s light cough last Monday. By Thursday, it was getting much worse & I started to feel like crap (no fever!)

Called in sick Friday.

Been sleeping a lot, hydrating, etc.

I’m going on 62 & have NEVER coughed like this in my LIFE (still, no fever). F’n ribs & abs hurt. It won’t let up.

I shake stuff like this in a few days, always have, not this.

I KNOW I’m going to be good, just bellyaching . .

I HATE missing work, dammit! Its not how I was raised. And I can’t bring this to the gym.

Darn, 2020 was coming off as a good year too.

TY. They (the whole thing) are overwhelmed. There is no solution/cure for any variable. This ain’t bacterial so no antibiotics will help,

You go in & you possibly expose yourself to getting something that you might not have & did not have to start with. And IF that is worse than this, I want NO part. Will isolate myself a couple more days and see if I improve at all.

This crap ain’t funny. Just venting. Sorry guys, you are my extended family.

There was a wicked respiratory bug going around here within the last 8-12 weeks. Mine was viral at first, but ended up with my first experience with triple pneumonia.

I take the pneumonia vaccine, but there are so many bacteria responsible for pneumonia that it's a crapshoot. Right after I was just about over it, the wife came down with pneumonia and it kicked her right square in the ass.

Needless to say I increased my apocalypse stash of Augmentin, and other antibiotics. We also try to keep a decent stash of our maintenance meds as well

E-mailed my doc. Right now, it’s best not to just stroll into urgent care. I could potentially hurt others or it could be the reverse. Still no fever, but this cough is a bitch.

Is the coughing productive? Most of the Mucinex products has something in it that jacks up my BP.

However, these helped me a lot, you just have to dose frequently.

i was down for 30days, pnemonia kicked my ass.

never had fever but felt like i was days from death. did not workout out for 30 days. never lost appetite just coughed, whole insides felt like they were dying.

same crap here and ppl are not recovering...lingers. I was too close to pneumonia and hospital visit .. had to take off work for 5d and lay low for another 10 days. Was feeling it coming back and had to lay low this weekend.

Don’t mess with this!!! Rest and fluids are underestimated for workaholics.

If it's Tessalon perles, they really helped Mrs. AG. She was coughing so bad that I had to either dose her with Knob Creek 120 proof mixed with a little honey, and a King Leo peppermint stick.

Brother this virus isnt quite that contagious.
There have been very few household where everyone got sick.

In fact it came to my county via one person and there is still only one person sick here days later.

Its not like the flu.
When one person gets the flu 100 others do.
This spreads much slower and is not nearly as easy to contract.

The age range of doom is poor health. I.e. asthma, smoking, pre existing lung issue. I am probably in more danger of fatality. But I just keep puffing that cig and eating ephed.

You seem pretty healthy to me. Other than being sick I mean. Get well soon man. Hope everything checks out good. Love you man.
