400 rep challenge and new training styles

With all gyms closed we’re gonna have to adapt. No sign of them opening back up in these parts for at least a month.

What can we do? I think we can lighter high rep weight. Most of us have no access to machines, cables, or a full dumbell rack but a few of us may have a barbell bench.

Heres the challenge. 400 reps . 225lb bench if your highly advaced lol. Or 135 lb if your above average in your training. You have two hours. I think im gonna for the 135. To me feels about like a pushup .

So what do you think we can do with no gyms to maintain our physiques? ANY ideas would help . Hell im all ears

I wish I had access to a flat bench and some plates...I missed that bus. Kicking myself for thinking the gyms would open back up. I’m getting by on 2 kettle bells and body weight. My challenge had been 500 pushups every other day and kettle bell curls, rows and shoulder presses.

I like your idea on 225 and 135. If you have a barbell and plates, you can overhead press, curls bent over rows, squat, dead’s and lunges.

    High reps, high sets.

    Crush it!

Shit bud, I have NO doubts you could it.

If anyone is interested. I do sets of 25.

I do 5 - 8 sets on 30 seconds rest. Then I move up to 60 seconds, then 90 and the last 5-8 sets I’m between 2.5 - 3 minutes rest. Yesterday took me close to 40 minutes. Trying to shave some minutes each day I’m doing it. Definitely sore!

Well good to know. I thought I was feeling tremors and aftershocks out here in Los Angeles, but turns out it’s just you doing push-ups, lol.

I've been using resistance bands as my dumbbells only go up to 40lb. A set of 5 was just over $20 on Amazon. Goes a long way. John Meadows has a push pull legs split using bands
I no longer check my inbox. If you PM me I will not reply.

Jumped on Amazon to grab a set and everything that I see won’t arrive until the end of April to the beginning of May. Unreal. He who hesitates, masturbates.

I should’ve jumped that train earlier...

EDIT * found a set that offered expedited shipping. Bit the bullet...8-10 days out

I ordered an received a bunch of different length bungee cords that aren’t too bad. Plus, shorter delivery time.
