Lower back pain??
I am by no means an expert, but as an old man, I do know pain. LOL
Disclaimer: I am an old man that is paritally senile and does not know what the hell he is doing, so if you follow my advice, you are taking your life into your own hands and I has 0 responsibility for your stupidity. LOL
I would like to let a lot of people know things that they may not know. You have a muscle called the Quadratus Lumborum (QL) that attaches your ribcage to your pelvis and spine. Pain in the lower back, buttocks (commonly referred to as ass), or knees may be due to the QL. Releasing the QL may eliminate this pain, I go to someone who has studied this for my pain relief, but it is extremely expensive (but well worth it). Before I go on, I would like to give my experiences.... I was doing seated leg press and I felt a sudden surge of pain through my back. I could not stand up straight and I was about to strat preparing for a contest. I went to a chiropractor and it felt a little better but I was still in pain and could not stand up straight. I decided to go see a Dr. The Dr. said that they were only going ot give me pain meds but recommended me to a neurokinesiologist. I went and I left the neurokinesiologist walking straight, I returned to work and my boss was in total awe. The problem.... The QL.
I recently had pain in buttock that went to my knee that I was sure surgery would be required. Once again, the QL.
There are many ways to release the QL, but you should also find the cause. In my last case, It started with my foot. As my foot was causing the stress to be put my pelvis, which was affecting the QL. He worked back to my calf, to fix my foot, to fix my QL.
If you have lower back pain, it could very well be your QL. there are numerous methods shown on how to release your QL on line, the only thing is, that you may not be permanently fixing the cause. It may fix itself with the releasing of the QL with time. I do not know how prominent neurokinesiologists are or even if that was the catch title at the time. The only thing that I know is this guy fixed me and I was able to go on and compete.
This QL pain be reduced or eliminated by following the "releasing" of the QLot
I hope that this helps someone and stretching of the hip joints and the QL may eliminate the pain. Stretching of the QL and hip joint should be part of your workout. Yes "ROAD" this was aimed at you. Take a look at the huge BB's and their flexibility. I want to see ROAD doing yoga in his TUTU. LOL

I'm going to have to look into this I have lower back issues all the time, wasn't until a couple weeks ago when I hadn't even been lifting, and woke up with pain that I relied their might be something else going on.

I have had both cases. The case of emergency surgery because of a disk and the case of QL causing the issue. Very difficult to distinguish the difference. Dr’s will just give meds if surgery is not required.
There is plenty of info online that is pretty good.

One thing I stopped years ago was taking leg presses super deep. Knees don't need to go to your ears for gods sake. As soon as I start to feel my back curl off the bench I know that's my depth for the day. Ton's of people get hurt on a simple leg press machine. Hard to believe but true.
Finding a good chiropractor is priceless in my opinion. I drive to another state where I used to live to see my chiro. The man's amazing at how he can determine the root cause of an issue and get you on the path to correction.

I also experience lower back pain in the morning. I decided that I did something wrong while training. Usually I just sit in my massage recliner for half an hour and feel much better. But it would be great to find out the reason. Maybe I also take leg presses super deep. I'll try to fix it. Thanks!

Fuck, what doesn’t go bad as we get older
I had my back go out now 2-3x - first put me down for a week
Right now, I may not lift real weight - but, I’m back to stretching. After my last back issue, I stretch 10x more through the day - or at least I did, until I medically couldn’t for a month+
So far, so good - with my back at least

Man, these self abuse health competitions are getting - oh, wait - it’s me that’s getting old
I had one like this too - worked on a car, wife said to watch my back since I was bent over this thing for hours - feels fine, wake up in the morning & I can’t get up - shit stayed around for about 3-4 days

Both elbows are fucked. Right shoulder is fucked. Left knee is fucked. Lower back gets tight and painful as hell doing anything like squats, deadlifts, roman chair. I feel like I'm just spinning my wheels now. My workouts are becoming more and more limited as time goes on and I'm only 34. Fuck I thought the hardware would last longer than this... where's the damn warranty..
