What mask are you guys using for HIIT?

I usually incorporate HIIT cardio this time of the year. What masks are you guys using for intense workouts? Thanks for any help

When I was in the Canary Islands in January just gone, it was compulsory to wear a mask while working out. If I was doing anything strenuous though, e.g. right before doing a heavy squat, I always pulled it down for a minute.

Fuck, it’s so nice

Before, I’d use Pomchies - they are made from the same material as bathing suits

But, even in those catching my breath was starting to get difficult when I added tren to my diet

We are supposed to wear masks, but the gym opened when it wasn’t supposed to last May and has been mask free ever since. Wow- there was no mass infection rate. Maybe the steroids prevented infection. I am beginning to believe this. We do just about everything the opposite of we should and no infection rate in almost a year??

Getting back to the question..... there are ones on Amazon that have valves. You can also take them out.

I have to wear a face diaper when I enter the gym, but I can take it off after I pass the desk.

After all this shit over the last year, I'll never put a mask on my face willfully.

I have to wear one full time.... sigh.... I've found the generic surgical masks to be the most tolerable for me.

But now that the weather is nice, I go outside for cardio. I can't drag a stair master outside, but I can do a cardio circuit (jump rope, burpees, etc) and it gets the job done.

Nobody around here is wearing masks.

There are a few people, mostly elderly folks who wear them in grocery stores and stuff, but nobody at the gym wears them.

Some stores, like wal mart and any dnc backed business, like delta airlines still require them.

But outside that, only elderly or sick people are wearing them here.

You can’t do anything here without a mask on.
The gym I go to is in another town has been a rebel the whole time. They opened when they were ordered to be closed and never enforced the face mask rule.
God help you if you go in a grocery store without a mask. They are all over you.
But everyone can handle the fresh food.

No mask required here but recommended when shopping and such depending the amount of people. I bought one from Under Armor that I like that seems to breathe decently well.

It's all about the illusion of safety. My sister was telling me the state and county shut down all the regular hiking trails and as far as I know they're still not open. You know going outside and getting a little exercise and fresh air is not allowed, but disgusting pigs with poor hygiene can handle the food at the grocery store and it's no problem.

You should be good with cloth or a surgical mask. KN95 is great for just the weights, but not cardio. Are you doing the HIIT with others close by doing cardio as well?

If they look dirty or if I just went to the bathroom, I'll wash them. But I don't wash them compulsively. And yeah, you rinse off the produce when you're about to use it, but that doesn't mean you want some filthy jerk off handling your potatoes after he just handled himself.

I typically don’t let other dudes “handle my potatoes”. Now women? I’ll let them handle my potatoes AND even snap my radish, no problem. I don’t even check to see if their hands are clean.

I wound up going with the NorthFace mask after doing a good amount of research. I got it in today. Great fitment for my bjg head ans it’s adjustable and feels very breathable. Keep u guys posted. I live in NY, capital democrat so I’m sure we will be forced for the next 5 years here lol
