Excellent, Charger! How are you feeling? Everything rolling along well?

Edit: Who is the brunette in the lower right corner of the picture?

I lack a little energy from low carbs. I am going to start carb loading on Tuesday before the show. I am hoping to go in big. I am on anadrol so I am hoping that I don’t have water issues.
The girl goes to the gym. Another guy told me that she calls me the hulk because she says my back is huge.
You ask me.::::: I am never big enough.

This year is redemption. Ladt year I took an iodine injection a week out so the Dr could ensure I was cancer free still. I researched and saw no issues….. I had severe bloat the day of the show. Two people that I beat out the week before, placed higher than I did at this show.
Lesson #1- never take unknown substances a week out from the show even if they appear harmless.

Are you "age classing" in this show or still scrapping against the young ones?

Both- my goal is to place against the young ones.
Lighting sucks, but striations are appearing.

Show was cancelled the day of the show due to Cartel uprising in Mexico. I’m going to Mexico next weekend to compete.

Can you sustain what you have and hold your conditioning until next weekend?
Looking ready to grab a trophy, Charger.

Sort of. I lowered my carbs- I was already loaded. I also upped my protein and water.
A couple days before, I will load again. If I can get back and move the water from the skin to the muscle again with the carbs and I will look shredded and full.

Not Charger’s chest but I was at a garage this summer doing some manly shit (an underground road race that shall remain nameless) and there was a professional photographer there (I was oblivious at the time). Anyways, he reached out to me today and sent me these photos that he took. Don’t know anyone else that’ll appreciate it and I like hijacking threads so here ya go. Thanks for the inspiration Charger, you keep us cancer survivors looking strong. I commend you old man

(Proud to say this old man finished second and my copilot quit on me after day 1. It was too much for him. Not too bad for almost 50 if I do say so myself. The race I mean
Also saw Jesus when I blew a tire (I mean fucking blow out) south of Miami in a torrential rainstorm doing 90 running on treads that look like my head.
think of a modern day cannonball run. You yunguns may have to google that shit)

Yes sir, in that race a homemade “convertible” is part of the deal. It had the 5.9 L V8 Magnum which is what I needed from it. Killed me to cut it but you have to play by the “rules”. I kicked the windshield out myself in flip flops. No windshield of any type is permitted. You’re also awarded points for being pulled over (must document) and additional points for being ticketed. I managed to “score” a lot of points that way

It was a pain in the ass getting the rear part of the roof because Dodge reinforced the sheet metal. The sawzall and I won in the end though, just had to be careful of the razor sharp edges on all 4 sides

I bet it was a pain in the ass! You know how the top responds when you make the rear cuts. First one usually pops up from residual stresses in the sheet metal. The second cut drops like a rock and usually pinches/takes out the blade. The rest is easy if you have a nibbler, but the handling the tip is like trying to brush a shark's teeth. Someone will end up with at least a few cuts if not more.

I'm pretty sure that second pic is Bill Goldberg.

Cannonball Run, Burt Reynolds, Dom Deluise, and a whole slew of people, IIRC. I still reference that flick now and then!

Be careful driving south of Miami, they have roads down there that brackish water will sometimes just bubble up through.

The organizers of this particular race definitely drew some inspiration from that movie. If you’re into Gonzo style racing, check out the 24 hours of Lemon and the Gambler 500. This “race” was born of those, just more legalities (or lack thereof involved).

Oh man, I could’ve used a surf board strapped under the truck on 95, it was an insane amount of water and like I said, there wasn’t much left of my tires anyway. Took it all the way to the keys…

I decided not to bend tubes and weld a cage, I regretted it when I was on two wheels, a blowout on top of hydroplaning combined with high speeds and no sleep is a recipe for disaster…lived to tell the tale though.

I thought about starting a thread to document the race for this crew but it requires more anonymity then even this place. You get the idea though

Funny on the Goldberg comment, I’ve been asked on more than one occasion. Us bald guys all look the same

The quality of movies really plummeted after these . . . .

Totally! Bill Goldberg - I’m the miniature version

We stick our racing to the streets, much safer I launched it out of our lot, lost the power brakes & came flying into a street - again, “luckily” no cars were coming

This thing will darn near pull the front tires off the groundClick image for larger version.

Love the simplicity of its looks; it screams primal-power. Going to put it on a dyno?

It does - but, I’m looking for a huge life change here shortly. She’ll just sit - unless I get the cash I want for it

It puts down about 350 horse, open dif - no posi. So, it’s no race car - my son can careless about it. He’s like, just get a Tesla - it’s faster

    Lmao! Well said

I got my Maro dialed in good yesterday, the secondaries now hit hard. Kinda good no one else was out there with me & I wasn’t under the hood of it - straight threw two belts clean off - that shit would rip your face off

Dunno kno what to do with er. Got it running great, just have the one carport & im very close to completely changing careers.

Nothing worse than missing a car. And, I got this for a steal of a deal. Insurance is only 200 a year tho.

Man, put it in a storage place and bring it out once a month or so. Or sell it for some crazy amount, right now ALL vintage cars and trucks seem to be bringing crazy prices.

I never got particularly attached to any of my cars, though I did have 1974 Pontiac Lemans two door that was fun. Not a fast car, more of a lead sled, but it rode like a yacht. Had it at 110 mph one time with the after market radio and eq (Pioneer of course) cranking some AC/DC while a buddy read a hot rod magazine. He never had a clue how fast we were going.

Won’t go against Tesla’s; too quick off the line.

Kids out here are all about obnoxious exhausts.
