Our great country is being led, sadly, to Socialism. Major advancements toward socialism began with the creation of a central bank called the FEDERAL RESERVE SYSTEM. It gave unbridled power to the directors in control of it. It has basically all control in our country now. It causes and benefits from economic situations it creates. It has caused depressions, recessions, market chaos, and general economic crisis. WHY YOU ASK? If you control the money supply you have an unlimited potential for wealth at the expense of others. Wealth can transfer hands but basically is very hard to create.
If you can inflate or deflate the money supply at will, you can amass fortunes and POWER OVER ANYONE. Everyone has their price. Anyone can be bought. and if not bought killed "accidentally"
These wealthy few shall institute Socialist and Communist ideals slowly under the guise of Welfare, Social Security, Graduated Income Tax, Increased control of Markets, Increased control on firearms, pushing liberal social issues UNTIL the government (controlled by them) owns all capital goods (including the labor force). These unscruulous individuals are not only gluttons for money but power as well
One major way they increase their power is to create crisis, incite mass disatisfacion, and present solution to the problem they create to seem the hero.
EXAMPLE: The FED increase money supply. Prices rise as a result. Interest rates rise. People cry out for government intervention. The government "fixes" the problem they created along with instituting more controlling laws under the guise that more government control is good. People lose more freedom.

Here is a forward I got a while back, enjoy.
"DO NOT FORGET"
I sat in a movie theater watching "Schindler's List," asked myself, "Why didn't the Jews fight back?"
Now I know why.
I sat in a movie theater, watching "Pearl Harbor" and asked myself, "Why weren't we prepared?"
Now I know why.
Civilized people cannot fathom, much less predict, the actions of evil people.
On September 11, dozens of capable airplane passengers allowed themselves to be overpowered by a handful of poorly armed terrorists because they did not comprehend the depth of hatred that motivated their captors.
On September 11, thousands of innocent people were murdered because too many Americans naively reject the reality that some nations are dedicated to the dominance of others. Many political pundits, pacifists and media personnel want us to forget the carnage. They say we must focus on the bravery of the rescuers and ignore the cowardice of the killers. They implore us to understand the motivation of the perpetrators. Major television stations have announced they will assist the healing process by not replaying devastating footage of the planes crashing into the Twin Towers.
I will not be manipulated.
I will not pretend to understand.
I will not forget.
I will not forget the liberal media who abused freedom of the press to kick our country when it was vulnerable and hurting.
I will not forget that CBS anchor Dan Rather preceded President Bush's address to the nation with the snide remark, "No matter how you feel about him, he is still our president."
I will not forget that ABC TV anchor Peter Jennings questioned President Bush's motives for not returning immediately to Washington, DC and commented, "We're all pretty skeptical and cynical about Washington."
And I will not forget that ABC's Mark Halperin warned if reporters weren't informed of every little detail of this war, they aren't "likely -- nor should they be expected -- to show deference."
I will not isolate myself from my fellow Americans by pretending an attack on the USS Cole in Yemen was not an attack on the United States of America.
I will not forget the Clinton administration equipped Islamic terrorists and their supporters with the world's most sophisticated telecommunications equipment and encryption technology, thereby compromising America's ability to trace terrorist radio, cell phone, land lines, faxes and modem communications.
I will not be appeased with pointless, quick retaliatory strikes like those perfected by the previous administration.
I will not be comforted by "feel-good, do nothing" regulations like the silly "Have your bags been under your control?" question at the airport.
I will not be influenced by so called,"antiwar demonstrators" who exploit the right of expression to chant anti-American obscenities.
I will not forget the moral victory handed the North Vietnamese by American war protesters who reviled and spat upon the returning soldiers, airmen, sailors and Marines.
I will not be softened by the wishful thinking of pacifists who chose reassurance over reality.
I will embrace the wise words of Prime Minister Tony Blair who told Labor Party conference, "They have no moral inhibition on the slaughter of the innocent. If they could have murdered not 7,000 but 70,000, does anyone doubt they would have done so and rejoiced in it?
There is no compromise possible with such people, no meeting of minds, no point of understanding with such terror. Just a choice: defeat it or be defeated by it. And defeat it we must!"
I will force myself to:
-hear the weeping
-feel the helplessness
-imagine the terror
-sense the panic
-smell the burning flesh
- experience the loss
- remember the hatred.
I sat in a movie theater, watching "Private Ryan" and asked myself, "Where did they find the courage?"
Now I know.
We have no choice. Living without liberty is not living.
-- Ed Evans, MGySgt., USMC (Ret.)
Not as lean, Not as mean, But still a Marine.
Keep this going until every living American has read it and memorized it so we don't make the same mistake

Here, this one is good too. Has all of "Billy Boy's" great miltary stands listed here.
After the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, which killed six and injured
1,000; President Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted
down and punished.
After the 1995 bombing in Saudi Arabia, which killed five U.S. military
personnel; Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted down and
punished.
After the 1996 Khobar Towers bombing in Saudi Arabia, which killed 19 and
injured 200 U.S. military personnel; Clinton promised that those responsible
would be hunted down and punished.
After the 1998 bombing of U.S. embassies in Africa, which killed 224
and injured 5,000; Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted
down and punished.
After the 2000 bombing of the USS Cole, which killed 17 and injured 39 U.S.
sailors; Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted down and
punished.
Maybe if Clinton had kept his promise, an estimated 5,000 people in
New York, Pennsylvania, and Washington, D.C. who are now dead would be alive
today.
AN INTERESTING QUESTION:
This question was raised on a Philly radio call-in show. Without
casting stones, it is a legitimate question. There are two men, both
extremely wealthy. One develops relatively cheap software and gives billions
of dollars to charity. The other sponsors terrorism. That being the case,
why is it that the Clinton Administration spent more money chasing down Bill
Gates over the past eight years than Osama bin Laden?
THINK ABOUT IT!
It is a strange turn of events. Hillary gets $8 Million for her forthcoming
memoir. Bill gets about $12 Million for his memoir yet to be written. This
from two people who have spent the past 8 years being
unable to recall anything about past events while under oath!
INCREDIBLE AND GOLD STAR MOTHERS
Gold Star Mothers is an organization made up of women whose sons were
killed in military combat during service in the United States armed forces.
Recently a delegation of New York State Gold Star Mothers made a trip to
Washington, DC to discuss various concerns with their elected
representatives.
According to NewsMax.com there was only one politician in DC who refused to
meet with these ladies. Can you guess which politician that might be? Was it
New York Senator Charles Schumer? Nope, he met with them. Try again.
Do you know anyone serving in the Senate who has ever had anything but
contempt for our military? Do you happen to know the name of any politician
in Washington whose husband once wrote of his loathing of the military?
Now you're getting warm! You got it! None other than the Queen herself,
Hillary Clinton. She refused repeated requests to meet with the Gold Star
Mothers. Now --- please don't tell me you're surprised.
This woman wants to be president of the United States --- and there is
a huge percentage of uninformed voters who are eager to help her achieve
that.

Good post JOHN DOE. I love how democrats can always show just one side of the story and it is usually such bullshit. Then the other side of the story comes out and the Dems shut up like they had nothing to do with the subject.
I think it was page one where someone was complaining about the US telling N Korea to stop building Nukes and then invaded Iraq.
UMMM. Think the US is the ONLY country that talked to N Korea about it? FUCK NO. We are the only one with the BALLS to do it though.
This thread could go on forever since it is basically Dem vs republican even if it did start out with a Europian.
All I can say is: For a country only 200 years old, we climbed up the food chain pretty damn quick to become

Bro, if you're going to remember:
I will not forget the Clinton administration equipped Islamic terrorists and their supporters with the world's most sophisticated telecommunications equipment and encryption technology, thereby compromising America's ability to trace terrorist radio, cell phone, land lines, faxes and modem communications.
Please do not forget also that most of the weapons currently being used to kill American soldiers in both Irak and Afganistan were supplied to the islamic terrorists by the Reagan and Bush administrations back when they were "freedom fighters"...
Not taking a shot at either rep or dem administrations as I honestly do not care who is in the white house... I just cannot stand seeing blind partisanship hypocrisy.
"My country right or wrong" only weakens your country, being critical of your government and holding them accountable (regardless if you voted for them or not) will only make you stronger.
Just my 2 cents worth...

Again, can we please stop comparing this administration to previous ones. Clinton was not the best, neither was Bush Sr, or Reagan, or Carter, or Ford...
Once you get to the presidential level of government - probably any government - you are a whore. That's how you got there...favors for money. Bush is an oil whore - how else do you explain having the head of the EPA being a former auto industry exec? Or having Halliburton and Bechtel win huge no-bid contracts. Or having the nations energy policies written during secret meetings with Big Energy conglomerates for 106 days WITH ABSOLUTELY NO ENVIRONMENTALISTS PRESENT WHATSOEVER. Does this make sense to you? Isn't this like letting Michael Jackson babysit your kids while you fly off to the Bahamas for a week?
Bush has the worst environmental record of any president EVER. There are over 200 environmental rollbacks that are planned or have been implemented by the Bush administration, and they’re listed on NRDC. Name a statute and that statute has been dramatically weakened since the Bush administration took office.
9/11 was unbelievably despicable, however, I don't think it makes sense to cast reason aside and take on this macho f*** everyone attitude. We can clearly see residual effects of this when we came back to the UN - after basically calling it useless - and asked for assistance with Iraq. Did we get what we asked for? No. Why? Because we were there last year telling the rest of the world "You're either with us, or you're against us." This is not foreign policy - this is mob mentality. 9/11 was a wake up call to say that we are not untouchable. We are not above criticism.
I understand that not everyone shares my opinions. And that's fine. I only ask that you read both sides, or even multiple sides of the stories and use an open mind to judge for yourselves. Sure liberals can be alarmists. So can conservatives. Liberals give lots of money to people and causes that may not necessarily deserve it. Conservatives, on the other hand, typically favor stronger corporate America over middle America. The fight will be neverending as long as we have a "biopoly" of our nation's political arenas.
If you're a liberal, go to a conservative website and read about what others think. And if you're conservative, check out what liberals think. Don't completely discredit one over the other - learn the facts and then make a decision. I think both parties have positives and negatives. But I do not follow one or the other or place a label on myself that would not let me see things with a bias.
Read the facts about 9/11 - study the timelines and see if things don't seem a bit off. Read about Bush's Bin Laden and Saudi ties, and how he continues to cover their asses to this day even though most of the hijackers on 9/11 were Saudis. Learn about Iraq and how the US supported it during it's war with Iran and how the US SOLD THE CHEMICAL WEAPONS TO IRAQ used to gas the Kurds. Find alternate sources of of information - not from Foxnews.com or Cnn.com or any pasteurized media outlet - they are just as much apart of the confusion.
I honestly think that if people stop, put aside their discontent with our previous president, and put aside the fear and the hatred of "terrorists" and don't regurgitate "Bring 'em on!" when we hear stories of "insurgents in Iraq" that a clearer picture of how we've been misled will begin to form.

These targets would be much closer and, probably easier to get to, than US sites. They don't hate us because we're free. They don't want to take our freedom from us. One of the main reasons we are disliked in the Muslim communities is because of our staunch support of Israel and our military presence on holy ground in Saudi Arabia and other sections of the middle east. We are viewed as bullies, and to a certain degree, we are. The US is very good at getting its way in the world - does that make us right? Or just influential? And why are we there? Oil. If there was no oil or natural gas available in the middle east, my guess is we would not have such "issues" with Islamics "hating us because we're free". They wouldn't because we wouldn't be interjecting our views into their societies.

Who EXACTLY has threatened to "take our freedom"? Or stated they "hate us because we're free"?
That is the funniest thing i have heard all day. The day the palnes hit the WTC was enough evedence for me to formulate that they wanted to take our freedom from us. That day they won too because all planes in the WORLD were grounded. What do you call that?

Hmmm....I'm not sure all the planes "in the world" were grounded. I know while the rest of the planes in US airspace were grounded, there was one plane ordered (by the WhiteHouse, I assume) to fly the Bin Laden family out of the US during the hours after impact on 9/11. Much to the chagrin of the FBI who wanted to interview them...and rightfully so, don't you think?
But back to your point, again, how did this take your freedom? How are you less free today than you were on 9/10/01 - I guess you could talk about how much longer it takes to catch a plane at the airport or take your seats at a ball game. But are these necessarily freedoms or are they more inconveniences?
Then of course, there's the highly contested Patriot Act - now THAT was a shot at freedom - but who force fed this down the throats of Congress? And do you think those who were involved with 9/11 had the forsight to presume that the Patriot Act would be the result of their actions?
The attack was a message. A message to us to stop our continuous pursuit of global conformity to our likings. I'll state this again - we are not alone on the planet. Our views are not always the right ones and the longer we continue to force them upon everyone else, the more we will run into problems with our neighbors.
You're right about there being those who want to do us harm for some reason or another - but violence begets violence. Anger begets anger. Death begets death. And revenge begets revenge. Where does it end?

thats the problem you try and reason too much.....you cannot reason with the likes of Bin laden or Hussain etc etc...sometimes you have to throw the "reasoning" out and take advasive action like we are doing.....and we are doing a hell of a job.....First Iraq then Syria then North Korea.........We cannot make every tribe/country on the world happy, but we as Americans can keep ourselves happy.........BTW Bush will be here for another 4 years so deal with it.
Matty you also said "You're right about there being those who want to do us harm for some reason or another - but violence begets violence. Anger begets anger. Death begets death. And revenge begets revenge. Where does it end?"...........I have news for you it might not never end, but i can assure you that it will not end by having little "meetings" with people who will never listen. Freedom isnt free.
