What is your favorite beer?
My vote goes to Singha, the exotic beer! Love that stuff.
What do I usually drink? Pabst cuz I'm poor.

So this American goes into an Irish bar and says he'll give $500 to the guy that can drink 20 pints of Guinness in 20 minutes. They all look at him funny and no-one says anything, one guy actually gets up and leaves. About 25min later the guy that leaves comes back in and says "you still taking that bet, Yank?"
The guy says sure, so they line up 20 pints and the proceeds to drink them in less than 20 minutes.
The American, amazed, pays him the money and asks "where did you go when I first asked"
The Irish guy says " Aye, I went to Flanagans Pub down the street"
American "Why"
Irish guy says " Aye, I had to see if I could do it!"
Needless to say The Tape only drinks Guinness

That would be Hefeweizen. Pronounced HEFFY-VIZEN. A fine wheat beer, Just don't put the dang lemon slice in it, makes you look like a pussy.

But seriously... we get our guiness any way we can! Its what they call the "Guiness widget", it's to simulate in a way the pouring of a glass of guiness from a tap. Apparently it affects taste and texture. (please don't tell me you drink it out of the can! guiness is drunk from a clean rinced out glass).

(yes I've had my share of Guiness! )

I knew that. Just posting for sh*ts and giggles. I don't drink it out of the can, got me some nice pint glasses. And no tap in my apartment so can or bottle is my only choice for home drinking.

Ok guys, stop making a science out of my favorite tipple. If you've an once of irish in you, you'd drink guinness from a tramps boot and lick the head off his scabby foot.
If you guys ever come accorss Nigerian Guinness GRAB IT WITH BOTH HANDS. Its almost 8% proof and is rocket fuel. Apparently when we used to ship it from Ireland to after the fermenting process made it alot stronger by the time it reached Africa. So they got used to the sweeter taste and stronger content. Now get this, we import it back to Ireland from Nigeria and OH MY GOD, its.. I'm lost for words, just get your hands on it.
If you guys are drinking from cans make sure its brewed in Ireland and not England. Our enemy can't brew it properly and its muck.

Depends on how much money I got...
If Im just havin one, It would probably be Corona Extra with a lime and salt.
If Im gonna get bombed, It dont matter because after the first few you dont taste it anymore anyway.
Ill take liquer over beer any day.
Good thread though

Brought ones: James Boags Premium or Strongarm, Coopers Premium or Sparkling Ales, Little Creatures Ale, Southwark Premium, Haagen Lager, Lowenbrau, Pilsner Urquell.
Homemade ones: A lager we did about 1 month ago - already it has good character - a franklin mash brew, fairly hoppy, about 6%. A Portegaff we did about 6 months ago - is maturing very very well - a carapils mash, lightly hopped, about 7.5 %. I intend to enter both of these in a competition next year.
If you were to lob up at our place there would be a minimum of any 3 of the bought ones in the fridge, supplemented of course by whatever homie we have on tap at that moment.
I love beer.
