    anyone in here a firefighter

    A buddy of mine is trying to apply to the fire academy and is curious if they would test for AS or if it would be just the standard drug test?? i have no idea and he doesn;t want to call up and ask "well do you test for roids in the new applicants" so i thought i would bring it here and see if anybody knew the answer.....

    Should be rec drugs only.. too expensive to test for AS....

    but that is an opinion.. have him as... "so, what are they testing for."" or better yet.. tell him to find out which test it is.. then he can find out.. 5 panel, 8 panel test for Rec drugs..

    AS is different totally..

    They don't test for any AAS or rec drug. I am one and all the tested is the pH of your urine. This is to look for liver disease and such things like that. Your buddy has nothing to worry about.

    Montreal FD tests for rec drugs (or at least they used to!), but not AAS.

    I guess it all depends on your fire dept....
