Best BB Quotes
I'm sure this might have been a past thread but being here less than 6 months I haven't seen it and thought I'd throw this out there.
What are some of the best body building/fitness quotes you've heard, used, or just generally like.
Here are a few of my favs:
Grip it and rip it
Go big or go home
You can't over train, only under eat

Personally I like the classic "go big or go home" and the good old "light weight" to psych myself up a bit lol
One I keep reading and like more and more is "eat clean, train dirty"

If you ain't first, you're last.
Not really a bodybuilding quote per se, but I like to apply it to every aspect of my life.

The Iron is the best antidepressant I have ever found. There is no better way to fight weakness than with strength. Once the mind and body have been awakened to their true potential, it's impossible to turn back.
The Iron never lies to you. You can walk outside and listen to all kinds of talk, get told that you're a god or a total bastard. The Iron will always kick you the real deal. The Iron is the great reference point, the all-knowing perspective giver. Always there like a beacon in the pitch black.
I have found the Iron to be my greatest friend. It never freaks out on me, never runs. Friends may come and go. But two hundred pounds is always two hundred pounds. - Henry Rollins.

I saw this one on another forum and like it...
There are three types of people in this world
Those that make things happen,
Those that let things happen,
And those that wonder...What Happened?
Which are you?

Not necessarily a body building quote. But I have said it more than one time before a heavy set.
Conan What is best in life?
To crush your enemies, to see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of their women.
Something about that fires me up. Say that twice and drop into the hole with 415 for reps. Hell yeah.

Not a bodybuilder but qoutes I like
Somebody may beat me, but they are going to have to bleed to do it.
To give anything less than your best is to sacrifice the gift
What I want is to be number one.
Gold medals aren't really made of gold. They're made of sweat, determination, and a hard-to-find alloy called guts.
Right out of high school I never had the fear of getting beat, which is how most people lose.
The 1st period is won by the best technician. The 2nd period is won by the kid in the best shape. The 3rd period is won by the kid with the biggest heart.
Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows. It’s a very mean and nasty place, and I don’t care how tough you are, it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard you hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward; how much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done!

"The last three or four reps is what makes the muscle grow. This area of pain divides the champion from someone else who is not a champion. That's what most people lack, having the guts to go on and just say they'll go through the pain no matter what happens."

this isnt a bb quote but my boss always tells this to me on a busy night. "you persevere, when you encounter a problem you adapt and overcome and if you catch yourself falling behind you just work faster.

I had that painted on my wall from age 13-18 then pinned up on tag board in my college dorm.
