    Short needle avoid glutes???

3/8" pin can get over the counter..Has always worked just fine, gauge is fine, just I've always avoided the glutes..Is 3/8 deap enough for glutes, I think it's about time I gave the delts, bi's, quads a break

1 1/2" is best but if you have low bf 1" will work fine.

I would use 1.5 or 1 " for glutes, but if you have a very low BF, maybe you can get away with less... I would not. With such a small pin, why not throw in tri's and pecs into the rotation?

I prefer the shorter pins, they are sturdier, you dont go too deap on thinner tiss.

1.5" is best for glute shots. 1" for quads. 1" is possibile to shoot in glute, but may be painfull since it's not shot low enough.

No, you don't want as short of pin as possible. You need to inject deep into muscle tissue. 1.5" is suggested for glute injects. If it's not injected low enough, you can have added pain, leakage, or other injection problems.

Please tell me where you came up with this info???

1.5" is STANDARD for glutes. anything less and you won't get into the muscle and could hit a vein easier

okay well here is my question I read and saw a movie clip on this site and it said that 1.5 always for glutes to get deep in the muscle and 1 inch for delts and quads, I was going to use a 25g 5/8 but was told by alot of people that it was not good so I guess it all comes down to what you find the best for you.

1.5 for glutes, if the needle is to short, some of what you inject may leak out or not go in the muscle at all

    Injection Contradiction

read the last post on this thread... nuff said? I stand corrected, I revise my opinion to you should not use less than one inch in the glutes...

So to answer my question...3/8" I'd best just stick to delts, bi's, tris. chest..etc..no aiming for the deaper muscles
