Glute shot
I was looking at a link that was posted on hear that states you should draw with a 21g x 1.5 and shoot with a 23g x 1.5. can't you just draw and shoot with a 23g x 1.5? I didn't see any 21 on ar-r site.

Reason is, you don't want to inject with a dull pin. It's best to draw with a larger gauge as it's easier(oil) to pass through the pin, then switch to something like a 23-25 g pin.

if you can't get 21g....get 18g..they are larger and will draw faster anyways

18g eats up your rubber stopper fast and you end up with little chunks of rubber in your gear. it really doesnt matter if you draw with 23g or whatever you got itll just be a little more difficult to draw in the oil. if you can inject oil hrough a 23g into your body then you can obviously draw the oil in.

Hey bud! ya, this is what I suggest. 18 g to draw, switch pins to a 23 g 1.5" and inject. Make sure you heat the gear up a little - run it under hot tap water for minute or two - which will help it go in easier. I've been using 25 g to inject, and they are too small for glutes IMO. Takes too long to inject and you get tired, cramped and shakey as you are twisted around to hit your own ass. They work fine for delt and thigh, but I'm ordering up some 23s for the glutes. Happy jabbing!

I just took my first shot in the glute Wednesday, I used a 23g 1.5" pin. It was pretty easy. Not too much pain during or afterwards. I have amps so I used 23g 1.5" to suck up the oil and inject it. It took a little time but why rush? Just my opinioin.

i just break the top of the bottle and pour it down the backside of the syringe fast and easy no worry about dulling needles

I use the 22gauge for all my injections. Draws fairly quick and for christ sakes does not hurt that bad

18's to draw (length doesn't matter), 25's for gluts- i trade the increased time for the less pain on injecting. i never thought of warming it though. that's pretty smart and i think i'll try it

I'm about to inject in the glute. Can I use 23Gx1". Is there anything wrong with using a 1" instead of a 1.5"? Thanks.
