what are you running and is this a first cycle?

i feel cycles exceeding 12 weeks need to include hcg

If you still make gains on week 12 I see no reason to stop and go till week 16.

But like I said you still have to make gains and not stay on for the sake of "staying on", because if your gains have flat lined on week 12 then just get off and PCT and get let your body rest for the next one. No reason in wasting cash to stay on and make no gains.

You can always keep it open ended but if you have done over 6 cycles you will have an idea at what stage your gains slow or stopped, by looking back over your cycles this will give you a good indication weather running something longer will yield further gains.

Also, what you have to consider is the recovery! normally coming out of a long hard shutdown is really hard and in most cases a longer PCT is required, even with an aggressive PCT!!. Harder and longer recovery will make a difference on the muscle tissue you might of gained in the extra period of the cycle, which makes it not worth it.

The best advice is to look back over your cycles and check out when you start to slow down or stop gaining, then design your cycles around that length of time.

My current cycle will be 13 1/2 weeks. It was going to be 14 but I always draw out a little to much. I'm in week 12 and still making gains. My gains usually slow down by now. I threw in hcg a little over a week ago. Maybe that is making the difference.
