What does the usual 2nd cycle look like?
First cycle was 500mg/wk of test e, and dbol for the first 5 weeks. Then pct obviously.
Only gained about 10lbs, but no fat and my strength is through the roof.
But, my question is: What is the normal route for a second cycle? (after waiting 12 weeks)

You could add deca as well or raise the test dose slightly, along with the ideas others suggested

I personally want to run a 8 week prop cycle for my second with a oral kickstart for weeks 1-3. Get me use to pinning and get on cycle get my results then get into pct quicker. Im finding that I cant wait to pin on this Test E cycle, I think thats why Prop is appealing to me as well.
Sorry just had my morning cup of joe haha. What are your goals?

Just to clear something up here:
IF he gained 10lbs of lean muscle tissue on this cycle, I would say that was a fantastic cycle.
On the other hand, if he gained 25+ lbs I would chastise him and tell him to get his butt in the diet forum, because he most likely gained 15-20lbs of fat and water.

^^That just means you weren't ready to cycle, and you could've gained alot of weight naturally.

10lbs is a reasonable goal assuming you started the cycle at or near your genetic potential.
The fellas you see throwing on 25lbs+ of weight in general are the ones that are clearly not ready to cycle.
To further D7M's first post, the 2nd cycle should in most cases be very similar to the first cycle in terms of compounds and dosages. Goals play a significant factor underlying what you'll cycle next, but generally shouldn't be too far off from your original plan.
Always use the least amount you can get away with, and only tackle on more compounds/dosages after you've plateaued on previous cycles.

Gained a total of around 20lbs on my first cycle. But my diet was designed to bulk. Bulking seemed the easiest way to go for me cause i just have a naturally huge appetite. I see a lot of guys use thier second cycle as a more focused cycle towards either bulking or cutting. My second will be test/anavar /t-3 and will be a cutting focus after I shed some fat naturally over the next 3 months
