Alcohol does inhibit protein absorption/breakdown. If the liver is being taxed by alcohol, it's going to try to eliminate the poison from the body before it processes protein. There is a study that says that a few people (not all) actually have increased testosterone after a few drinks (less than 5), but after 5, all people's testosterone decreases. Obviously, if you are taking AAS, this doesn't really matter because you're shut down anyways.
I also think that things should be done in moderation. If you drink once a week, and don't drink to the point of puking or being hung over for 2 days, then by all means. This applies to anyone. Those who are still natural, even more so. The only way I see that drinking would affect gains significantly would be if you started taking shots of Jack after your workout instead of protein... lol.

I never said they dont stop working, i was simply saying that with all the money put in to it i want the maximum results. Granted im still a fresh fish to the game but still. Alcohol bloats you normally throw in being on cycle and the bloat increases. Also I like to go hard on my workouts not half assed hangover workouts. Im not sayin u cant enjoy a few drinks but this thread is dedicated to binge drinking correct? I would not reccomend it. Seems like it would be taking steps backwards. Again i didnt say it ruin all results but it would most def hinder your workouts, results, nutrition etc. Plus if your diet is dialed in right with calories and protein and fat do you really have room for empty calories from beer.

There are so many things wrong w what im about to say but here goes. Back when i started using gear in my early 20s, i binge drank every weekend at least fri and sat. I was 320lb guy that all i cared about was powerlifting. I drank whiskey, usually at least a 5th eaxh night, then head off to wherever to binge eat. I could care less how looked as long as i was string. Never effected my strength as i had a raw bench of 565 at 23 in the 308weight class and 1915total.
That said, after being out of.lifting and getting fat, losing a ton of weight and jumping back on cycle hooefully hitting a show this fall, i went out last night @ 267lbs (my avi was about 2 wks ago and im making great progress still) and i got a ton of compliments when i went to the bar and asked for a water. Plus i didnt feel like poo when i got up.
As w anything in life, moderation is key.

i NEED to get hammered on cycle cut or bulk, yes its worse to do on cut but it keeps me sane. i was doing 3 hours of cardio a day, diet was to a T, lifting usually hour-hour and a half (depends i would go till i was done and not gettign a bigger pump) if i didnt go out this weekend and drink/eat complete crap i dont think i could handle my hard diet of 500 calories a day of only white fish and do 4 hours of cardio a day +weighs its mentally exhausting. this weekend i ate fast food pizza, 20 beer a night 2kg of cake, cookies chocolate, anything crap i could get my hands on. but since i did this i know it will give me the motitivation and it has already ****ed with my head enough to make me think ive put on 10 pounds and got me excited to get back in the gym first thing tomorrow morning and do my 2 hours of cardio. everyone bodybuilder be pro or amature does this, jay cutler lives at IN and OUT burger when bulking. no i wouldnt drink heavy every weekend, do it when u need to take a break from this stressful live, and when u take a day or two break, eat EVERYTHING bad for you, does the mind wonders and will make u come back training/dieting harder then before

k, I don't want any added stress on my liver, no matter how insignificant(just my preference).
