Just looking at a needle makes me feel like fainting

Pinned myself for the 4th time, 1st time felt nervous goter done, 2-3rd not bad but the last one I did when I was pushing the test in( my ass) I was shaking so bad that I had to walk around the house with a needle stuck in my ass, my heart rate wentbthroughbthe freakin roof, after I calm myself down I finished off with a bit of shaky ness. Pulled it out and all was good.

Does anybody else get nausea when pinning, and how do you cope?

Monday morning is my next shot, just thinking about it drives me nutz

I was nervous the first time I pinned. Kept thinking "ok I'm pushing a needle in my ass filled with an illegal substance that was brewed in my neighbors garage" after that first time it's been a breeze though

Lol, just bugging. Take a couple of deep breaths and get it done. No shaking. No walking around with a needle in your muscle - it will tear the s*it out of it.

Maybe look at using a different site. If you pinned in your quad or delt or lat, it might be easier for you to get it done.

I think that my glutes are the easiest to pin, but most people I know say that their quads are the way to go.

You should really try and stay calm mate , just take your time and most important thing breath and dont rush through it , keep the muscle relaxed and defo no movement when your pin is in as JD said you will tear the muscle and make it sore, it will get easier the more you do it

I'm the same way. I had my friends do my glutes the first time and I fainted lmao. I had them do my delta the next time, after that I thought wtf and some how manned up and did it myself. I laughed about it. It doesn't bother me anymore but getting blood drawn does I almost faint lol

Just try to stay calm and relax. If you have someone to help you it does make it easier as you do not want to be moving the needle around. My nervs were jacked the first time I did it but it does get easier with time, hell I look forward to it now.

Me and the ol' lady were not on best of terms on one of my injection days. I grabbed the gear, laid everything out, filled the syringe and got ready to go. I looked at the needle, it was like one inch from my skin. I got all dizzy and odd feeling. I woke her up and said you have to do it, I just can't. She did it, and it all went well.

It's all in your head, if I had to I can possibly sike myself out enough to do it, maybe. I got myself to remove my own stitches about a year ago. She refused to do it and I said I'm not going to a hospital since I have no health insurance. I sat there looking at the tweezers and surgical scissors for about an hour before I could man it up. She, was like WTF, you actually did it.


Bottom line, if you have no one else you trust with this. Sike yourself out, it might take a bit of time. But, you gotta do what you gotta do sometimes.


My 2 cents, I feel lucky that she does mine though and she's pro.

My wife hates it but one time i was pinnin my shoulder after a brutal chest workout. I got the needle in but was crampin up so bad i couldnt get to the plunger. I had to walk around the house w a needle out of my shoulder and beg her to finish haha. Not a happy wifey that day lol

I pin ED atm and my first pin i ever did 2 weeks ago had me nearly throwing up and i had to lie down for a while afterwards lol, dont worry man your not the only one who needs to man up

I was using 25 gram 1 1/2 inch but ive switched to 23 gram 1 inch, they are so much less intimidating then the bigger needles and as long as your not fat you can even use them in the glute, i recommend you try the shorter needle if you can it really helped me

haha i was a little shakey my first ever time too, mainly due to the fact i had never stuck myself with anything before..but i just pushed it in slowly and was surprised at how painless it was..i've only been injecting my quads as i find that muscle very easy to do on my own

Get 25g 1in, you will barely feel it. I just did my left pec for the first time this morn and it was totally painless...You'll be ok, just do as everyone is saying and take some deep breaths and stay calm...

No, I warm the syringe under hot water before I inject and its smooth with no issues...

I had the EXACT same reaction you did... I got really hot and almost puked, had to run my head under cold water for 4 mins. That was my first and only glute injection.

I highly recommend pinning your quad. There are a million videos on youtube how to do it easilly/pain free (as far as pain free injections go)
